A list of puns related to "Miasmic"
Can be a Miasmic Malignifier target of Miasma of Pestilence?
Visual representation of its range of effects on a typical sized battlefield. https://imgur.com/gallery/acahDzy
This is an example of it area of effects on a typical 40K battlefield. Itβs the perfect size to deepstrike 5 terminators inside its bubble to give them +1 to saving throws and -1 to hit. As well anything that gets close to them will be in range of the -1 to toughness aura. And anything that touches the red area will be blasted with βflamersβ. (While they are under effect of -1 toughness.) I donβt think there are any rules that limit throwing this fortification on top of an objective. In an edition where terrain is so important this could be a viable unit, especially in some play areas where terrain is very limited.
Is Contagion of Nurgle and Putrescent Fog measured too from Pox Furnace or only from main model?
The "plague furnace" it comes with has the terrain trait of light cover.
The malignifiers aura states it gives -1 to hit if you are already recieving the benefits of light cover.
So if you are within 3" of the furnace and 6" of the malignifiers you get both.
This thing is tough for its points too! 12W, T8, 3+ , -1dmg.
Also, the g in "align" is silent, the g in 'malign' is silent, how come the g in malignifier isn't being pronounced as such?
As the Miasmic Malignifier takes hits, it loses strength. But it's only weapons are 2D6 Strength 4 range 6 shooting attack. It has no Weapons Skill, so that means it cannot make a melee attack, correct? So if that is the case how does the decreasing Strength really harm its statline? What am I forgetting?
Hello fellow scions of Barbarus! I am thinking of converting my own Miasmic Malignifier but can't find the dimensions for the model anywhere.
Can anyone who already has one please tell me:
I probably won't be using one competitively but I would at least like to model something that roughly matches the official model. (I am thinking a drop pod full of Nurglings and festooned with pipes/ exhausts!)
Thanks all!

This thing is too good. Its a T8 12 wound model that debuffs, buffs, and gets to forward deploy. All that is neat but what is truly powerful is It allows you to place a piece of terrain called the pox furnace within 6" that has light cover, heavy cover, unstable position and difficult ground.
You can guarantee -1 to hit and light cover to your troops if you're facing a shooty army or completely clog up lanes if you're facing an assault army. You may even be able to place the pox furnace in a manner where the malignifier is un-assailable due to the unstable position keyword.
This thing pumps contagions all over the battlefield. Position it just beyond an objective and any enemy unit trying to hold it will be -1 toughness. Cast Gift of Plagues and pop the strat Flash Outbreak and you halve the moment of everyone within 12"!!
For 75 points I'll take two.
Hello.
Question: what is the base size of the Malignifier and the furnace? From the box art I'd guess 100mm and 40mm.
Someone with the model, if you could please chime in that would be awesome.
Thank you :)
Hello you beautiful nerds!
This is a recent homebrew creation of mine after a dear friend asked me to create a 5e stat block for her car that had, just now to her knowledge, giving her Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Thus the Miasmic Automaton, a sentient car construct that exudes an odious aura, was born! Hope you enjoy!
I want to make a conversion from scratch but no idea how big it is, and the site doesn't even say the base size. If you have one can you get measure it for me? thanksΕ‘
