A list of puns related to "Lower Empire"
Hi all, Wit here!
The AKATOSH EMPIRE family is expanding with the addition of Akatosh Acolytes#5427. This guild is intended for NEW PLAYERS below level 45. There are no real eligibility requirements- only that we want people who are curious about the game. We are looking for players who are working through the early stages and seeking community, and if you join our discord we can offer the wealth of knowledge and coaching that comes with a top 5 guild without any stringent requirements or pressure.
If you join, the only ask is that you play when you can. Engage in guild chat. Request and donate what you can. Ask questions about the game β gear, the story mode adventures, sigil events, abyss, arena β anything you want to know we can help with.
You will also be invited (but not required) to join our discord which includes all of our guilds, as well as a Great Hall that is home to our carefully curated group of friends in the Blades community.
Akatosh is a special guild that is distinguished by our code of honor and integrity, our commitment to curating a drama-free environment, and that despite having one of the greatest guilds in the game we are a no-pressure environment.
We would love to reach new players and invite them into our family. If youβre interested, there are several ways to get in touch and I ask you to PLEASE reach out. You can reach me here on Reddit, directly on discord (Kaotic#2238), speak to any of our Council members about joining ANY of our guilds by applying in our discord server (happy to facilitate that!), or simply comment here letting me know that you are applying in-game (Akatosh Acolytes#5427).
All the best, Wit
Just started playing and Iβm not sure how to lower it.
I'm just going to point out what we know and my observations.
What we know:
The episode featured a simulation of the MU thus not everything in it might be representative of the real MU, potentially none of it is representative and it's all in-universe fiction or guess work.
We know from Discovery's time jump that contact with the MU eventually petered out and the MU does not exist anymore, but this from the perspective of hundreds of years in the future so we can have more contact with the MU around LD's time without breaking canon.
In fact in the future they have pretty detailed information about the Terran Empire, information about their holy days, which suggests more contact than what we saw in TOS and DS9 happened.
My observations:
The scenario was modeled around Kirk's famous encounter with the MU, potentially suggesting the scenario takes place during TOS.
Yet the drill needs to be useful to Starfleet, which implies officers need to know how to handle the MU since more contact can happen and training officers to handle the Terran Empire of a century ago is not practical.
Other evidence that the drill is supposed to simulate a contemporary to LD Terran Empire is that the division colors are the modern ones (Mariner and Boimler being command wear read, Rutherford who is still an engineer wears gold)
Likewise MU Boimler know to be on the look out for infiltrators from the Prime Universe, which if we follow Kirk's scenario he should not.
From DS9 we know that the Terran Empire has fallen and humanity is now enslaved to the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance during DS9 we saw the rise of the Terran Rebellion which is not featured at all in the drill.
My theory is that we may see the use of the novels solution, with a greatly reduced Terran Empire and Imperial Starfleet existing but being a client state of the KCA, the Terran Rebellion representing the majority of humanity. If I am right the drill is based around encountering this Terran Empire or potentially a merger of the Terran Empire and Terran Rebellion.
I think we can say with a lot of confidence that the MU officers Mariner met were not based on real info but were created by the drill using the information on the Prime Cerritos crew passed through a sort of "Mirror Universe" filter (Boimler is an excellent example)
That being said I think that certain aspects of the simulation, the technology, the uniforms, the culture (Migleemo appears to be a slave due to

Team Empire takes it 2-1 against Natus Vincere.
Team Empire will go up against the winner of PuckChamp/Team Nemiga in the next round. They started from Lower Bracket and have since eliminated
Natus Vincere is eliminated and will not go to TI10.
I know some might say they would be right under Palpatine's nose, but it still seems like a much better place to hide than on some distant planet. The distance between each planet isn't such a big deal for Vader and the Empire considering Hyperdrives are a thing. If Vader finds out a Jedi is hiding on a far away planet it wouldn't be that hard for him to fly over with some troops and have the search around.
On Coruscant this would be impossible. The place is made up of thousands of layers and each one covers the entire planet. I can't imagine its layout is easy to navigate, and the Empire wouldn't be able to rely on hyperdrives to cover great distances. Much of it probably isn't traversable by vehicle at all.
The manpower that would be needed to search for a single Jedi in such a labyrinth would be unimaginable. And this is all assuming the Empire knows that a Jedi is hiding there. If the Jedi were to keep a low-profile then it would be that much more difficult for the Empire to find them.

Following the left bank of the Lower Rhine River for approximately 400 km from the Rhenish Massif in Germany to the North Sea coast in the Netherlands, the transnational property consist of 102 components from one section of the frontiers of the Roman Empire, which in the 2nd century CE, stretched across Europe, the Near East, and North Africa, over 7,500 km. The property comprises military and civilian sites and infrastructure that marked the edge of Lower Germany from the 1st to 5th centuries CE. Archaeological remains in the property include military bases, forts, fortlets, towers, temporary camps, roads, harbours, a fleet base, a canal, and an aqueduct, as well as civilian settlements, towns, cemeteries, sanctuaries, an amphitheatre, and a palace. Almost all of these archaeological remains are buried underground. Waterlogged deposits in the property have enabled a high degree of preservation of both structural and organic materials from the Roman periods of occupation and use.

Go to your
<STELLARIS_DIR>/common/defines/00_defines.txt
and adjust the value of
`REQUIRED_POP_GROWTH_SCALE = 0.2 # Required pop growth increased by this much for every pop in the empire`
I set it to 0.2 and I think that's a much more reasonable penalty IMO. Works perfectly for my existing savegame.
In one of my play through, my current character is the emperor of Alba and also King of Ireland and West Francia. Ireland and Alba both have primogeniture and crown authority 4. Can I presume West Francia does as well or is the succession laws for that set differently? Thanks!
