I've been on successful projects and I've been on failed ones. Most of the time, everyone on the project is working hard. The team maintaining the game now just seems overmatched. The direction of this seasonal content is piss poor. The game seems like it gets less stable by the day. Trials has been a pretty big flop so far. I really hope bungie fixes this for not only us, but their employees. There's no way bungie can brag about taking care of their employees and creating a great work atmosphere when they are not putting them in a position to succeed.
Hello, After using connectwise control for a while, we have decided to look else where for a remote access service. Preferably on site but able to support off site clients. I know about remotely meshcentral and apuppet. Not sure they have all we are looking for.
Preferable price is free to low cost monthly.
We want one time remote access, unattended remote access for windows and linux (preferably with arch linux support), and support for ios/android devices. We are perfectly happy to run multiple applications if that is what it takes to get this accomplished . If anyone has some software to look into please let me know. Thank you!

When we were together he became a very violent alcoholic towards the end - he stole my money, he embarrassed me in front of my friends and family, he constantly yelled at me, played mind games with me, he would punch himself, he would throw glass bottles at the wall every other day - sometimes he would throw them at me (sometimes I would have to block my face from shards of glass that went flying), he would punch walls or other objects to the point where his knuckles would bleed, he would shake or shove me, and sexually grab me when I didn't want it, most of the time I was able to deny his sexual advances. (Read between the lines: most of the time)
That trend went on for over year before I was brave enough/felt like I was worth saving before I escaped that relationship.
After I left him, I was mentally and emotionally wounded. But, I maintained a good life for the next 6 years - went to grad school, took on a few awesome internships, landed a sweet contract job and then finally ended up at my current company. I've been here for almost 3 years, and I love it. I'm on my way to be hired on to the engineering team where I'll be making a significant amount more than my current position. I also work at a company where we get over 100 resumes for each open position, so I feel really lucky to be here. I do not want to leave because of him.
Recently I noticed a very familiar name coming into the chat queues, my ex has a very unusual last name so it didn't take much internet sleuthing to realize it was him. Fortunately, he has not gotten me on the phone yet - but I can see from past logs he has called in. He mostly uses the live chat and the web cases to communicate with us, and I don't include my last name whenever I engage any type of correspondence with him. I know my luck will run out. There is a picture of me on the company website, and I have a linkedin profile (something he does not have).
I know from his past that he'll likely lose his job because he's an irresponsible asshat that can't keep a job for more than a few months. But, there is a big risk here that he may find out where I work, and that thought scares me. I still have nightmares about the times we were together, there are still things that I hear or see that trigger a violent memory of being with him. Just seeing his name come in makes me feel sick to my stomach.

I understand there are a few portable docks out there that allow you to go without the bulky table top dock experience but I'm curious if that will ever be a specific possibility considering the hardware / software. I'd love to be able to plug my Switch into some cord and continue to play while a capture card rips everything onto my computer.
I know this is a uniquely specific issue for streamers / content creators but it was just a thought I was having. Nintendo is so incredibly behind the times with content creators that I can't see them specifically allowing this any time soon.
I have seen some press events where the Switch is docked in some sort of fancy cord that looks like it screen shares (like the most recent Skyrim gameplay clip) but I haven't been able to find any info on it, or confirm that it was actually doing that.

A friend of mine would like to integrate a "Live Chat" support feature in his website. The website is based from Joomla! but hopefully there is some sort of flexibility with the software that you are about to recommend specifically the integration part.
Also, if ever there are no live chat agents available, an auto-responder feature would be great. I've tried out a few actual sites that has a "Live Support" software integrated with some sort of a Siri-type of feature. Is a dynamic auto-responder possible? The reply that the visitor/customer will receive is based from the keyword(s) that he/she used. Does it make sense?

I like to record everything in one program and the Game Capture software for the most part does an amazing job at that. But it would make the experience that much sweeter if a feature like that existed!

Just purchased some Galaxy Buds Live from Black Friday sales. I've always loved the sound quality and look, but have had bad experiences before with Gear.
I absolutely loved the first gen of Galaxy buds, but I returned them, because of the shitty Galaxy Wear app, and it's absolutely horrid battery management. I noticed a significant drain and reduction of standby time on my phone, even when I was not using the buds or listening to music. Uninstalling the app fixed the issue.
Have they fixed this issue with the app? Will using Galaxy Buds Live without the app significantly make using them harder/less enjoyable?
