A list of puns related to "Limp Wrist"
I wanted to know others opinions. I know on TikTok there has been a trend of doing the limp wrist with the "ding!" In a song to show you are Queer. As a result I have seen many memes and others using it as a code when they are talking about if they or someone else may be queer but are in a space that it is not as safe to be open about being LGBTQ+ (for example I live in an area with many homophobes so my sister and I will use it when talking to each other, she is pan I am bi ace). My husband on the other hand (he is straight but an ally) got upset when I used it and said his friend who is gay would find that super offensive and I could get beat up for it so to stop using it. I know the LGBTQ+ community took back Queer so I had assumed we took back the limp wrist too as a way to take away the hate that straight people use against us but I am also still a baby gay so maybe I am wrong.
What is everyone's opinions? Is it ok to use it if you are some form of Queer? Is it only ok to use it if you are a gay man? Or is it never ok to use it?
Here is an article talking about the TikTok trend for those who may not be familiar with it: https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/davidmack/kiss-me-more-limp-wrist-tiktok
Vaush is unironically the most limp wrist streamer I know, there is like ZERO muscle control on his wristβ¦.itβs the cutest shit ever cuz he tryβs so hard to be masculine presenting and Iβm just likeβ¦.
β¦..LET THE GAY SHINE
(Also Italy is a made up country)
When Iβm about to grab something and someone gets in front of me or I am interrupted before I grab it my wrists βgo limpβ like a stereotypical gay guy. He keeps saying βwhatβs thisβ and he imitates me and he even asked if I was gay. I literally just moved my hand back because he walked in between me and where my cup was sitting on the counter. I donβt do it on purpose it just happens and I donβt notice it.
It doesnβt mean Iβm a gay man. It really doesnβt mean shit that some people do that. Itβs so annoying. I wish I didnβt have to hear it all the time.

Okay, Iβm not trans, but I wanna know, is there a trans version of the limp wrist? If you donβt know what Iβm talking about, limp wrist is the thing where you lift your arm up, and make your wrist go limp to show youβre gay, and that for aro/ace people is the thumbs up, but is there one for trans people?
I would 10x rather you call me a flying freezing f2gg0t than goβ¦ βHeyβ¦ are youβ¦ you knowβ¦π ?β
OOOH BITCH WERE GONNA FIGHT
Ok so ive seen this alot on social media where wlw do the wrist flick thing as a punchline or to indicate that they're gay and Im actually so confused lmaooo like do other wlw know that the limp wrist thing is mostly directed to pointing out the actions of effeminate men?? same with the "is she *nail polish emoji*" like why would a sapphic doing a stereotypically girly thing indicates that they are gay..... how does that make sense.. lmaoo like I'm not mad or anything but I'm confused as to how the joke has become an online mainstream ting without many people pointing it out. Like, my homophobic family used to do a limp wrist to indicate that someone is gay without saying it out loud and it was always to effeminate men, so maybe I actually know how it was used without it just being an internet gay joke. Like I said I'm not upset or anything, I'm sapphic myself, but it just makes all the limp wrist nail polish jokes fall flat lmao. Like same with the fruit jokes as well
I've heard that a few times, mostly in jokes and TV/film. If a man's wrists are not straight, would some people assume he's gay?
It's getting boring, downvoting and calling them out, but new apes need to know that shills are the enema. OOPS. Enemy.
