Hi, I'm an Edinburgh College student making a short documentary on Leith Waterworld. I'm currently looking for an interviewee for the documentary for which I only need about 1 minute and 30 seconds worth of footage from the interview.
It could be specific memories you have, any knowledge of it's closure or details about leith Waterworld that aren't common. Generally just anyone that thinks they have something interesting to say regarding the waterworld. It would be a very short, informal interview, and any transport and food costs would be covered.

Hi everyone
I was gifted some nice coffee beans over Christmas, but I don't have a grinder. Does anyone have any suggestions of places in Edinburgh city, or over towards Leith Walk/Easter Road, that may grind the beans for me? Obviously, if I was asking them to do that I would support the business by either buying some other coffee beans or spending some money in the shop. I just don't want to invest in a grinder when I usually buy already ground coffee and to be honest, I don't even think I would have anywhere to store it in my kitchen!
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
do you get a lane to yourself? if not, do you have to stick to a particular side of the lane if you're slow? can you take breaks at the end?
leith vic specific: are there swimming specific changing rooms or do i use the upstairs gym ones and just walk through that side door to the pool in my swimming suit?

Just wondering if anyone had been to Leith (Ocean Terminal or Community Centre) for their jab today? Both appear to have walk in slots, but just wanted to put the feelers out there and ask if they had been busy? Might tip down that way a bit later to see if they have availability!
EDIT: Went to Leith Community centre yesterday and was in and out in under an hour for walk in booster.
Does anyone know of anywhere that consistently stocks bones (for cooking, not for dogs)?
I used to go to PCY on Leith Walk, but Covid played havoc with their suppliers so they don't stock them any more.

Got the following text from my kidβs school about an hour ago. Anyone know whatβs going on ?

Everytime we see Leith/Laith Pierre's name written, its spelling is never consistent. But I did notice that in "official" writing such as the subtitles and the credits, it's written with an E, Leith Pierre. But in the gameplay, such as the green tape label and the Kissy poster, it's written with an A, Laith Pierre. I personally believe the correct spelling is "Leith" with an E but nobody but him knows that, so everyone in the factory spells it with an A. What do you think? Could this one day be important?
