A list of puns related to "Leeuwen"
So, I'm finally going to buy a Jazzmaster. I've effectively narrowed it down to the Troy Van Leeuwen JM (I mean, they're gorgeous) and the American Pro II. Aesthetically, I definitely prefer the TVL- by a longshot. However, I have some concerns about the quality considering it's a MIM. I plan on keeping the guitar for a long time- I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either of these models or any advice on which way to swing? None of the few guitar shops in my area stock either of these particular models, so I've not been able to playtest one, but I've always wanted a JM and these seem.. promising.
Just copped one at reverb and canβt wait to show off the new baby at my local shop. Whatβs the last thing you were truly excited about in your rig?? Donβt care if itβs a squire or a custom shop! Pedals welcomed too!
So about 18 years ago I saw a live performance from QOTSA on Fuse. During No One Knows, Josh went off and did a solo that blew my mind and I said to myself "I wanna do that!" Fast forward to the next Christmas and I got my first guitar, a squier strat with amp and I was beyond the moon excited to learn how to play. I definitely can't play like Josh by any means, but I'm proudly self taught and I've been writing music since day one when I really had no idea what I was doing. During the pandemic I had a lot of time on my hands so I really got into my local gear trading scene. I sold and traded a A LOT of gear that had accumulated over the years that I simply was not using. I'd been wanting one of the TVL Jazzmasters ever since they were released. After I had gotten enough money to afford one, I soon saw that they were kinda hard to come by. I threw a feeler out on Craigslist saying that I was looking to buy one. Someone reached out to me with a reasonable offer and I jumped on it. I met the guy today and we talked for a bit. He's a musician as well and he told me that he had gotten the guitar from Mario Lalli! As in the bassist for Yawning Man and had worked on a few of the early Desert Sessions albums. Maybe he was making it up, but I'm going to chose to believe him. Anyway here it is, one of my absolute dream guitars and I couldn't be happier.

If you did an Ezhova out of a Van Leeuwen, would you get an empty swing deduction? Are there any other possible connections that gymnasts have actually competed out of Shap 1/2 skills?
