A list of puns related to "Lake Oconee"
Hey, mrballen. Have you heard about the deaths of Russell & Shirley Dermond? They were a wealthy older couple living in a multimillion $ lakeside home in Putnam County, Georgia, by Lake Oconee. Their children were grown & gone, no enemies or motive can be found. In May 2014, Russell was found in the garage HEADLESS & Miss Shirley was missing... after, I think about a week later, she was found in the lake, tethered to cinder blocks... the thing is theyβve NEVER found his head... no, suspects, no leads, no motives, no answers....and no head!!
Murder of Russell and Shirley Dermond May 2014. Would love to hear other folks thoughts on this unsolved murder. I tend to believe it had something to do w son that was involved w drugs.
Will be heading up there for the first time in about a month and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for publicly accessible courses to play? Iβm staying in an Airbnb so I donβt think I can play the Reynolds courses.
Brad Dermond flips through albums and shuffles through a handful of photographsβremembering family road trips, golfing and how much his parents loved him and his siblings and adored their grandchildren.
But the memories are bittersweet, because that is all that remains. That, and unanswered questions.
The youngest of four, 55-year-old Dermond, says his parents were very private people and that they would hate that he is talking about them at all.
But four years after their brutal murders, Russell and Shirley Dermond's son believes itβs time to talk: https://www.11alive.com/article/news/investigations/gone-cold/gone-cold-the-murders-at-lake-oconee-4-years-later-elderly-couples-son-opens-up/85-548449019
I've seen a couple posts on here about this, but three years on now there's still very little information, and I was wondering if any of y'all have looked into the case.
The murders are very interesting to me as I was actually staying in a lakehouse on the other side of the cove where the Dermond's house is when the murders happened. A family friend owns a lake house on Oconee and I was staying there for a week after school got out. The day before Russell and Shirley were presumed to have been killed, my mother, sister, and my friend's mother actually saw Russell going on a walk around the neighborhood (we reported this information to the sheriff's office). To this day the whole thing creeps me out.
I am looking for a decent course that wont break the bank for Monday before we go to watch The Masters practice round on Tuesday. We are staying in a house on Lake Oconee, and i was trying to find a place to play that wasn't over $200.
Does anyone have any good suggestions
Bouldering or sport. Thanks!
