So apparently someone narc'ed on them to the Health Department and they got fined. This used to be my favorite place to bring my dog to sit and work outside of the apartment for a bit, so I'm quite upset. Given that I always thought their coffee was overpriced and I mainly paid for the privilege of sitting on their lovely patio, I don't see myself patronizing them much in the future as a result of this.
It's truly upsetting to me how state and city regulations make it near-impossible for a business serving food or drinks to be welcoming to dogs. Does anyone know what the pathway for business to legally allow dogs is?
Anyone in the Southtowns hear/feel an explosion around 7:15? I'm in West Seneca and it sounded like a bomb hit the top of the house. The whole place shook. I looked all around and saw nothing. My daughter called to tell me that a house in Lackawanna exploded. I guess there's pictures on Facebook.
I saw Lackawanna Blues last night and loved it. I am, however, curious about the history behind Ruben Santiago and "Nanny." I couldn't find much information about the real-life "Nanny." Anyone know why Ruben's parents could no longer care for him and he ended up with Nanny?
