A list of puns related to "Jared Bush"
For those of you who aren't aware, Byron Howard directed Zootopia and Jared Bush was Zootopia's co-director...
I know it's a little disappointing that they went to work on an original movie rather than a Zootopia sequel, but trust me, they've given us a great treat in the mean time.
Like Zootopia, Encanto has well-developed and complex characters, good humour, rich emotion, and an interesting premise/world... all alongside a fantastic soundtrack.
Is it as good as Zootopia? Nope, but to be fair none of us were expecting it to be. It is however, in my opinion, one of the better 3D animated movies in Disney's catalogue.
Go see it!
Apologies if this has already been posted, but an interviewer asks Jared Bush and Byron Howard about Zootopia 2 in this Slashfilm Encanto article. They're pretty evasive about it, and it kind of reads like there's no plans in the works, but it's hard to tell: Interview
Yes, Rich Moore may have left Disney out of the blue to work for Sony, and thank him for all that he's done for Zootopia/Disney, but we still have Byron and Jared.
Byron pretty much conceived Zootopia, and Jared was a co-director and writer (along with Phil Johnston). So my guess is that for the sequel Jared will be promoted to director along with Byron, as well as still being the main writer. So if they are/were planning to do a sequel, nothing much should change with this.
But it is quite a shock to me that Rich Moore left Disney. He isn't the only Disney director to do that. I think couple of them left too. I know Lee Unkrich left Pixar a few months back. Really sad to see, and I really hope it's not some kind of domino effect after Lasseter's ousting.
Can someone explain to me why theyβre credited that way? Wouldnβt all three of them be co-directors together?
