As an advisor office, fan I regret not saying anything😩 but I wasn’t sure and my friend started walking away. I know they’re performing Tuesday at the performing arts center. Just came to rant about not saying anything :(
Yes, I'm ranting about iCarly.
If you've seen the show you'd know that Sam describes her mother as some hideous beast not unlike an Ogre or some other horrible abomination. Everything we hear about her is how she is hideous and has no self control. Yet when they finally show Sam's mom on screen?
It's just Jane Lynch in a slightly eccentric outfit.
This always left me disappointed as a child. You hype up Sam's mom for several seasons with quotes like
>"My mom keeps screaming at the cat to get a job. Yeah, I don't know."
>"Get my mom to start shaving her armpits? It's like two sweaty jungles up in there...!"
>"No, they're late 'cause she was bleaching her mustache."
And many other horrifying quotes. But it's just Jane Lynch who, while not a super-model, isn't even unattractive.
This isn't a rag on her acting skills, it's just that she's not the horrifying monster-person that Sam's mom was portrayed as.
Episode 9 synopsis says Charles is visited by an old colleague that sheds light on his past….what if she is a real detective he used to consult with for his Brazzos show?

Micah being the only therapist for queers in the city reminded me of LA’s only lesbian lawyer, Joyce Wichnia. Who is going to need a lawyer soon, maybe Dani for issues with her dad? Is the Marcus Allenwood situation leading to an emancipation (or even a custody) storyline for TiBette and Angie?
What other minor characters from the OG could come back, in what imagined storyline?
The thumbnail is up, based on the title and her outfit, she was Charles' body double. So why would they need a body double for Charles?
