A list of puns related to "Italy National Rugby Union Team"
"
Yes, Italy are above Georgia.
A few started absurdly exaggerating extent of this.
Point 1 also comes with context of Italy getting many millions more in 6N money.
Yes, status quo unfair on Georgia & others.
But no, promotion/relegation likely won't raise overall level.
Overall European rugby goal should aim to be inclusionary and expand to more teams involved.
Recent U20 improvement of Italy, Georgia, & Iberians one of most positive developments in the sport right now.
Point 7 will take time to show at senior level.
Bashing Italy after every bad 6N loss is not helping Georgia, & point 6 is better achieved with them doing well.
Italy should play Tier 2 and a more balanced overall scheduled that gives chance for more wins anyway.
Also finally a couple last points. - Last November Georgia entered with minimal prep, a ramshackle coaching setup, & half the squad not played for months. It cannot be used as baseline of where they may be in 2/3 years. - 6N should be under more pressure to help Spain women too."

They also emphasise that the discussion around Italy and Georgia would be more positive if people were actually aware of improved results at youth level.

Looked into the new Rugby Champions game and saw both of these rugby management games from the same publisher, Alternative Software.
Anyone got or played either? Which is better? The match engine in National Rugby Manager actually looks pretty decent but Rugby Union Team manager looks like the more popular game.

What is the Six Nations
The Six Nations is the the annual rugby union competition contested by the national teams of England, France, Ireland, Italy, Scotland, and Wales, and the 126th edition of the competition. It is a round robin competition where each team plays each team once, so each year it alternatives wether they are home or away. For those who have no idea what rugby is, a quick context below
**What is Rugby **
Rugby union, widely known simply as rugby, is a full contact team sport that originated in England in the first half of the 19th century. In its modern common form, two teams of 15 attempt to more points than each other, which can be done by placing the ball over the opposite tryline or by kicking a penalty (think free kick from soccerβ through the H shaped goal posts. The other defending team stops them by tackling them, NFL style and trying to steal the ball when the tackled man hits the ground
What is the offside rule in Rugby
When an attacking man hits the ground due to a tackle, the defending team can try to steal the ball by grabbing it off the guy on the ground. (see here) the attacking team stops him by putting a man over the ball to defend it for his team. (see here ) This forms a ruck, and the ruck forms the offside line for the defending team. They must wait at the ruck before the ball comes out of it to go tackle the attackers. (see here in womenβs game )
How Italy changed the game, creating a lot of seethe in the process
Italy are undoubtedly the team with the worst track record in the competition, having the worst win to loss ratio in the competition, regularly finishing winless. England on the other hand are well regarded as the villains of the competition, with the most wins, the most arrogant teams, and a bullying play style combining to make Italy severe underdogs when they went away to play England in twickenam in 2017.
The Loophole
The controversy started when Italian players deliberately avoided competing for the ball after making a tackle, meaning rucks were not formed. This meant there was no offside line, so the blue shirts of the Azzurri could stand among the opposition backline and prevent the ball being passed. (These clips show it all ) This had never been done before in the northern hemisphere, and as you can hear from the home crowd in this clip, most

On March 30, another Supreme Council of the Russian Rugby Federation was held in Moscow, and its chairman commented on a number of crucial issues, including the timing of the decision on the protest with Romania.
The main theses sound like this:
The budget of the RRF for 2018 is 425 million rubles. This is about 7.3 million dollars.
"This is a good amount that allows us to maintain the infrastructure, develop our bases and finally create a place for the deployment of the national team, where it will be good and comfortable," Artemyev said.
Sioua Tuamalolo returned to Russia and, together with Mark McDermott, will lead the national team
Tongan coach is well known to Russian fans for work in the "Krasny Yar".
"We did not abandon the idea of ββinviting the world top coach. If the our coaches are successful this year, then we will not look for a new coach, these coaches are good, and we can afford it. Either they stay in the coaching staff, and the coach from the world top-20 will lead our team, we do not rule out that, "the head of the supreme council said.
The protest against Romania is the protection of the interests of players and coaches, and the decision on it can be today, March 30.
"We are doing everything openly, we are not playing plots. If injustice was allowed, we must be able to defend ourselves, as well as our own interests. These are national interests! "Artemyev emphasized.
The Romanians filed a request for Anton Rudoy, who had previously defended the colors of Kazakhstan. The fact that the forward is "clean" - no doubt, and the actual head of Russian rugby is not against naturalization.
"We also need to engage in naturalization. Only it is necessary to work neatly. You can see the young athletes of their island states. There are normal examples. I believe that naturalization is an acceptable path in a limited way. But we must first prepare our players. But sometimes people come to Russia and they want to live here. And why not? But it should be young people, not old people. So far we have not succeeded in this and do not do this, "Artemyev told journalists. https://rugger.info/news/19367
