A list of puns related to "Internet Bubble"
im sorry if the title comes off as offensive, I have nothing against America, but most things I see on the internet are American centered and I want a more world focused feed. I feel like reddit is becoming more American everyday, heck most posts on popular are American politics and it's honestly depressing. it's becoming hard converting lbs and miles everytime. someone help me
edit: after realizing that this is a stupid question I've decided to go back to where I came from
You know the part of the internet thats almost exclusivly by 13-30 year old straight white suburban non religious leftist/liberal introverted males that grew up in the middle class playing lots of video games and live either in the US or Europe and is "Above average" Inteligence but are underacheivers.
I'm a young finance student and in my opinion cryptocurrency is way to volatile and I don't know if sooner or later we're going to see alot of these cryptocurrencies drop majorly in value.
A part of me also feels that it is the way of the future and if some don't act now then they will be far behind in the future.
The United Kingdom and United States may very well be civilized and liberal nations but their internet, like the internet in other nations, are barricaded by certain walls and bridges that allow more visibility to some content and less visibility to others.
This is particularly interesting in the case of music on the internet. Something which we all share in common. We all love entertainment but our national barriers and filter bubbles create this sort of curation and cultivation of what we see, when we see it, and how we see it. Not to mention how the big three (Sony, UMG, and Warner) play a role.
I'd like to talk more about this because it's something that has generated quite a lot of discussion in recent years.
So we know the three main corporations are Universal, Sony, and Warner. Yet within these three corporations, there exists subcorporations and record labels and these slice and dice the visibility, public relations, distribution, etc.... We also have the relations between them and the social media giants (YouTube, Spotify, TikTok, etc....)
In the past, access to music was very much a top-down phenomenon. In order to listen to music, you had to rely on what MTV was showing, the radio was playing or what the record store was selling. But today we have much more of a peer-to-peer networking system.
But interestingly enough, despite the easier accessibility, there are these walls and pathways that create routes for the transmission of music and this is what makes certain artists/bands more popular and well-known than others.
So I put up a shib post today. Iβd say half the horde hates the shib where the other half own it or too embarrassed to admit it. Been in the markets for a long time, stocks, options, index futures, now crypto. Trust me when I say, remove your personal bias from pulling the trigger and entering or exiting a trade. Iβve said it before, you may be fundamentally π― correct but that doesnβt matter for shit. The market (crypto exchanges/technicals) is always right, 100% of the time even when itβs wrong. You donβt make money by being right in your analysis, you make money when you buy at 1 and sell at 2. When doge was taking off I called the βinvestorsβ too stupid to have the money to put in. Joke was on me. Doge was technically a raging buy when it broke the ATH of .08 or so and continued on to .70 or so. Told myself wasnβt going to let the next doge pass me by. Sometimes we need to separate our intellect and trade off the charts because the charts (market) is right π― of the time as I stated previously. Learn your candlestick charting, trade momentum, buy breakouts on volume and you will be richer for it. Again just my amateurish take on all this madness
Anyone have anything to add??
t bagholders. The successful investors tell you at cocktail parties how easy it is to get rich, which causes the butts to rise further, which pulls in larger and larger groups of investors. But the whole mechanism is a kind of Ponzi scheme where more and more credulous investors must be found to buy the butt from the earlier investors. Eventually, one runs out of greater fools.

I watched it last year for class, I remember little about it except for the general thesis that βcyberspaceβ was originally seen as a place free from politics during a time where people were upset with the U.S. government, especially post-9/11 and the Iraq war. It talks about social media evolving, and how people were trying to warn about the dangers of Trump, but by that time, the Internet was in itβs own algorithmic bubble, separated by political class. It also talked about Trump rigging something at his casino from a guy who won big, but before he got the money back, the dude was assassinated by yakuza(?). I wish I could give more details, but I really canβt remember. Thank you!

I'm an American living in Europe and I've also seen this political chess being played in Latin America, the Arab monarchies, and Japan.
