A list of puns related to "Ibo"
I'm currently about 80% done with IBO, and while I utterly love it thus far I would like something lighter to follow it with. So please give me your recommendations! :)
This far I've watched everything I could find on Netflix - loving the shows and even picked up some gunpla kits.
edit: Goodness! I really didnt expect his many replies! Thanks all for the recommendations! I think I will have a look at the various Build shows on Youtube and G Gundam cause it's there. (I watched the first 3 eps of Builders and Ramba Ral showing up was unexpected!)
And then see if I can get my hands on some of the other recommendations!
Thanks again! you've been great!
Thank you r/IBO for giving me the motivation to continue even though i was so close to dropping out so many times haha!
My two years year of IB had me struggling with a predicted grade of 30/42 haha. I then began posting more on this subreddit asking for help with questions and stuff hahaha. My teachers were giving up on me and my parents were wondering whether it was really worth sending me to the IB but thanks to this insane community i managed to stick with it and finish my IB exams in november 2021. It was crazy how many seniors i met on here that gave me tips on how to better write my IAs or just helped me out with simple math questions or to send me some english A sample essays whenever I needed them.
Two days ago I received my results with not that high hopes hahaha expecting maybe a 36 or something but I ended IB with a 44/45 hahaha I honestly couldnβt have done as well as i did without the help of so many of yβall. For all the help these past two years, thank you r/IBO
I wanna make sure I don't procrastinate TOO much π
In the past I remember comparing the Barbatos to a Demon or even the devil itself and seeing the Barbatos in a negative light due to how codependent the relationship gets between Mikazuki and the Barbatos. I mean literally the only time Mikazuki had control of his body after a point in the story was when he was connected, it seemed to me that the Barbatos was trying to trap Mikazuki, make it so he didn't have a choice but to pilot it, and pitied Mikazuki for losing control of his future.
But after rewatching only the first season did I notice sum, during Mikazuki's fight with the Ein Graze when Mikazuki finally gets it and asks the Barbatos to "give me everything you've got, and don't hold back" (Eng Dub) then realizing the Barbatos is holding back even still he says "it's not enough... More.. more.. now give me more Barbatos all of it!"
Mind you this is my interpretation, but the show hints that the Barbatos in some level has a consciousness, opinions, wants and desires yeah? After asking the Barbatos to give him more Mika says it's not enough, as if the Barbatos were holding back on him which maybe it was cause remember it had to be asked, coaxed twice during that fight with Ein for Mika to go all-out.
So yeah I think at least early on Mika and the Barbatos had a healthy relationship, Mika at some level knew the risks and (again my opinion here) the Barbatos tried holding back a bit giving Mika better reaction and control but he still wanted more... But after this once the Barbatos has felt what it's like to be at its full strength I think it wanted more, the first time they go all out the Barbatos' eyes flashed a brighter green, and as we all probably know by the end during the fight against the Ghallarhorn forces the Barbatos Lupus Rex's eyes flash a demonic red, same as when they fight the Hashmal.
I think the more the Barbatos got to go all out the more willing, and the more bloodthirsty it got, originally it cared about its Pilot at some level and I'm sure it still did, but towards the end it wanted more (God only knows what state Mikazuki would've been in had he survived that battle) it didn't need to be coaxed, the Barbatos wanted to let loose and go on a rampage.
I still think my original thoughts on Mikazuki are the same tho, at one point Mikazuki isn't good for anything besides piloting Barbatos, he had dreams of being a farmer but those were taken as he lost more of his body to the Barbatos.
It kind of fits really at least I think so giv
... keep reading on reddit β‘Or any anime about machine, robot, dark, politics, especially metal collisio.I have watched Gundam IBO quite a few times and want to have a similar experience, please give suggestions
Because of the whole corona virus pandemic, we spent our entire time with the IB during the pandemic and taking a majority of our classes online. Will the IB, you know, take that into consideration.
PS. I know nobody knows but would like to read some opinions.
Orga : Yea we had autonomous weapons that killed the majority of humanity, we have no idea how any of this stuff works, child soldiers and slave labor are commonplace and oh yea : my best friend and ace is a paralyzed cripple.
Uso : 'Look of Horror'
Amuro : 'Thinks less badly about psychoframe'
Char : 'Has third thoughts about the Axis drop'
Orga : Don't really understand what you have against the EFF though, yea it's corrupt, but have you seen Gjallerhorn?
I think even Ernie might have second thoughts when he has to interact with the IBO cast, if he tries to go with the same enthousiasm he normally has, Tekkadan will shoot him down hard.
Don't even get me started on Yuta.
I have a few parts boosting a leg EX on my defender and currently have the Bael legs, but is there a better IBO/Gekko pick out there?
Obviously the big boys like Gusion Rebake and Vidar would be nice but for now Iβve just got the standard pool and event gunpla to choose from.
To be honest although the episodes leading up to the end should've been better in a sense I'm selfishly saying that I wanted a happier ending but this ending was good. It followed through on what the show gave us at the start...all in all it was beautiful, had enough to make me binge it and not get tired, got me emotional and made me think
The creator removed all external ties the members of Tekkadan had to make way for this ending. From Biscuit and Takaki who had a family, to Naze and Lafter etc. It had a bittersweet ending where the 2 characters I wanted to fight and die heroically did and those who they fought against acknowledged them. It left a bitter taste knowing that they were painted as the villains by the world and that's one thing I didnt like. The world was not ready for Tekkadan but everyone died in a noble way.
There are many who didnt like the ending and I understand and I too wished it was different but I'll accept this one, hell I even shed some man tears when Orga died until the end.
I'll respect IBO cause it indeed stayed true to showcasing the horrors of war, its unfairness, cruelty and ambiguous morality as both sides are enemies only of circumstances which reflects the world...my words are probably a mess because I literally binged the last 6 episodes and wrote this immediately after I watched the last episode, I want to say more but in the end my only regret is that, like the narrator in the end said, the child soldiers of Tekkadan who knew no home but the battlefield will be forgotten and only regarded as devils. But hey atleast Julie and Gaelio recognise them and their desire in the end π And that fat fuck Nobliss Gordon is dead thanks to Ride
Argh I dunno I needed to speak about it so this is just me venting to people who've watched it too
Just finished IBO. It's my first ever Gundam anime too.
Anyway
