There was a report in the news yesterday that people were getting fines for parking illegally on the street near the vaccination hub.
Well, I had my second shot today and they've now made parking at the P3 parking station free (previously cost $6 an hour).
So, no need to worry about parking costs for the vaccination hub in Homebush. Just go to the P3 parking lot and it's free.
Also, capacity at the vaccination hub has increased significantly in the past three weeks. Three weeks ago I experienced really long lines after I arrived at my appointed time, and they only had two "pods" working and only half the check-in terminals active.
Today, no lines. I arrived half an hour early, went straight to check in and then got sent to a pod to get my vaccine. It looked like capacity had been doubled based on the number of check-in terminals.
It was very well run. The nurses were lovely and it was very orderly. Well done everyone.
