Hey guys I need some local perspective. We found a house we like that’s in the Hollins area…but we haven’t actually been to Roanoke yet but we might need make an offer on this house. What’s the area like? Northside HS and MS okay? We are progressive 40 year olds with 2 kids. Will we fit in okay? Young families? Is it an ultra conservative area? I’m fine with diversity of views and whatnot I just don’t want to feel how we do now where we live in AZ. I appreciate this sub a ton so I’m hoping you guys can come through like always. Thanks!
Anybody know when the recycling containers at Hollins University are going to be emptied? Went over there yesterday and they had the entire area roped off with a sign that said the containers were full.
I can run everything down to the transfer station tomorrow but Hollins is way more convenient.
Pretty sure we all had our doubts about him after seeing him on first take and hearing his ridiculous takes but so far he’s doing a great job on our broadcast. He’s calling the game without any bias and seems like a great compliment to Craig. So excited for the next few years of Rockets basketball on and off the court!

I think him and Craig did a solid job tonight. He familiarized himself with all of the Rockets players, their attributes, and did a good job calling the game. He did have one slip up where he called a player by the wrong name, but I’ve heard Bill, Clyde, and Matt do that often.
He didn’t do bad at all. Definitely doesn’t deserve the hate he’s been getting.
