A list of puns related to "Hillsborough Stadium"
Did the other disasters also lead to a major public enquiry like what was seen with Hillsborough?

Does anyone know what is was?
The Hillsborough disaster in England is one of the worst sporting disasters in history. The 30th anniversary brings back painful memories to all those connected with Liverpool FC and of course the friends and families of the people who needlessly died.
The police officers responsible for overseeing the crowd control are rightly being held accountable for their failures in the courts, after a long campaign for justice. The incident happened at the Hillsborough stadium owned by Sheffield Wednesday FC yet hardly anyone seems to focus on their role in the tragedy. They were the ones who designed and built the stadium, signed off on the safety plans, hosted the match, and employed the stewards.
Obviously the seating/standing arrangements have been substantially re-designed and made a lot safer. But the stadium is still there, still hosting matches, still open for business, despite the most horrendous scenes of people being crushed to death taking place on the same spot people sit and watch Sheffield Wednesday games. It seems wrong.
The stadium should be demolished in memory of the 96 Liverpool fans who died there, and a permanent memorial to the victims should be built on the site.
