A list of puns related to "Goblin Name"
Because it was the end of May
I just wanna know since I'm making a roblox avatar, would be really helpful.
Okay,
I thought this sub might appreciate what I think is a sneaky credit entry. This was noticed during the credits when we randomly paused the show to chat and we say a voice actor was named βHammond Cheasey LXIXβ. The Roman numerals translate to 69.
I cannot find any other reference to this human being other than the one credit they get in Goblin Slayer but even then they are credited as βadditional voicesβ
Is this a troll credit? Ham βnβ Cheesey 69??
Hey, everyone. You may remember me from a an interview that I did with Golbin Guru a couple years back, or possibly some of the other Clash Royale videos that I created when I was more active. I put CR down for a while, primarily during the more extreme Covid lockdowns, since I had more time at home which resulted in more time on my PC than my phone. Lately I've been picking it up again and doing a few matches here and there.
Recently, I noticed Goblin Guru's name coming up relatively often again. If you take a look at the top posts in the last 24hours or so, you'll see a repost of one of his images (which also rightfully fully credited him, thank you for that). Someone in the comment section was asking why he had deleted his reddit account. To be completely honest, I hadn't even noticed, since I've been busy with RL stuff and haven't been as in-touch with this sub. I figured I would reach out to him, since he'd always been very positive and friendly with me in the past. We caught up a bit (you don't need to see that part), and when I asked about his reddit account, here was his response:
This is a screenshot from my email
I would not be making this public had he not been very open about it. As you can see in the message, he has given me permission to share this info, and he has "nothing to hide." I thought that the r/ClashRoyale community would appreciate this, since a few people had recently been asking where he's been and why his account was deleted.
If I'm breaking any sub rules or anyone has reasoning as to why they think this should not be posted, feel free to reach out to me; I will happily discuss it and, if a valid reason is presented, take it down.
I opted to censor the name mentioned since this is not an attempt to call anyone out, but rather an attempt to inform the community, and I understand that Reddit has some pretty serious witch-hunting policies.

Platform(s): Amiga, C64, Famicom was the platforms I had access to as a kid
Genre: Ghosts n goblin-like - but not GnG.
Estimated year of release: 1985-1990. Sorry, I have no more accurate date for this, we often played OLD games, so if I played a game 1991, the game could've been released 1982.
Graphics/art style: Even though I say it's not GnG, artstyle is a lot like Famicom Ghosts and Goblin
Notable characters: I recall some enemies, like a floating round ghost on a graveyard, behaved like Evil Eyes in Zelda 2. Recall no other friendly NPC.
Notable gameplay mechanics: 2d scroller, left and right scrolling. 3 lives into Game Over
Other details: First map I always played was a graveyard map, several platforms height, ended in reaching a Mansion(?).
I remember my family had an old game - could be amiga, or C64, I dont really recall.
It was a side scrolling 2d game, and I dont remember much of it, as I was 5 or even younger at the time. It was in colour - basic colours, but colours nontheless - and it had basic animations. They werent the best, but it was fairly good for being back then.
I dont recall having any weapons in the game at the time, but I assume they were in it. I dont recall having used any weapons anyway. I believe you had to find weapons before being able to use them.
The first maps were a bit random, I remember loving a starting zone that was a graveyard, you could walk on several heights here, so it wasnt just one floor. In this zone I remember floating ghosts, like white round blobs flying back and forth, kinda like the Evil Eyes in Zelda 2. There were also zombies or skeletons that spawned from the ground and some already walking around. I also remember that dying in this game spawned a headstone with the letters R.I.P clearly visible on them, headstones that I believe stuck around for marking where you died on your next lives. You didnt have endless continues, if you died just a few times it was game over. I am 100% sure there were these headstones with those letters on them, because I remember they being the first instance I came across that particular abbreviation/phrase.
For what I remember, this sidescrolling wasnt just going from left-to-right, in this graveyard map you actually begun on the right and moved left. The "end" of this graveyard was also signified by you reaching a large building.. I believe it was a mansion?
So;
Sidescrolling 2d
Basic animations
Colour (on the version I played
... keep reading on reddit β‘When i was younger, I watched a lot of green goblin content since i liked spiderman a lot. when i read comments, i remember his name being βNorman Osbourneβ so i got used to spelling his last name with an E at the end. But recently iβve learned that itβs been spelled βOsbornβ the whole time and idk what to think. is this mandela or am I crazy?
Inspired by this thread, which reminded me of several silly ideas I had a few weeks ago about goblin law regarding goblin-made artifacts in general and the Sword of Gryffindor in particular.
This one was the silliest, so it got turned a prompt. I'm willing to share the others (as much as I remember of them, anyway) in comments if anyone is interested.
(As a side-note, are there any rules about the frequency of prompts from the same user? I have several more ideas I want to share, but I don't want to post them too often, because I'm afraid it would look like spamming.)
My favorite faction, but for some reason i cant think of any tribe names.
None at all.
Bonus points for a Jungle Goblin tribe name. (goblins that live in the jungles of lustria, ie. incredibly short tribe lifespan.)
Iβm running a home brew game for family (all adults), taking place mostly in a desert biome. Right now the PCs are in a dungeon, but once they come back out theyβll have to travel through the desert.
I have some ideas for encounters, one of them being set at an illegal well. The PCs will meet a trio of former goblin raiders attempting to turn over a new leaf by chasing their dreams of starting a band. Their names are Gibblet, Nugget, and Dame and theyβre all family.
The setting is dark, but with a grim sense of humor. They are very much raiders in the style of Fallout and Borderlands, just a bunch of dirty, off putting, crazed cretins with enough whimsical charm that the party is going to adore them, but never fully trust them.
I need to come up with a name for their band so I thought Reddit could help a DM out! The four I came up with are:
The Three Greengos
Gobo Murdobo
Stick the Pig
Caca Smasher
Let me know which you like or if you guys have your own!

Round flying ghosts, mobs spawning from ground, some walking around

Death spawned a headstone with letters R.I.P clearly visible
First map - or one of first maps available for chosing, was a graveyard, with "several stories high"
Some maps were right-to-left, some left-to-right
Second map possibly a mansion
(It's quite possible that I'm on the wrong game system here. During the time I played this game, I also played on C64, my aunts Famicom - and she had some of those 100-in-1 cartridges - with other games I played being games such as Dig Dug, Popeye, Xanadu, Turrican.. while the game I'm looking for isnt necessarily of the same graphics such as Zelda 2, I believe it was better graphics than so
