A list of puns related to "Giants Stadium"
(A JOKE TITLE - obviously)
But in all seriousness, I do pace around a giant stadium. I live right next to it and when it's off-season, the gatekeeper leaves the gate unlocked so every morning I take my dog for a walk there. I let her off the leash and she does whatever she wants - sniffs around, runs, walks after me. I just put my headphones in and start daydreaming. We spend about an hour there every day.
There was a snow fall a couple of days ago and it's been gradually melting away ever since but quite slowly, except for the parts where people walk over it. This morning after we got back in the house, I looked out of my window at the stadium and there was a GIGANTIC trail of brown patches of dirt peeking out of the snow because I kept walking over the exact same spots for days. It honestly looks like a work of a mad person.
TL;DR: My pacing whilst daydreaming whilst walking my dog left a huge trail in the snow on a stadium because I just kept walking in circles around it for days on end.
I finally get to see my Giants play live! I'm so hyped i hope we get the W! I really can't hold the excitement ahhh lol
If you are coming in from out of town, we know the area very well, happy to answer any questions you may have. Places to stay, things to do in the area. Best way to get to the stadium, etc.
We can point you in the right direction. The new mall (American Dream) is very nice and work checking out, it is right next to the stadium. Although there was a fire at the indoor ski slope so that won't open back up until 2022.
Anyhow, let us know if we can help and go Cowboys!
Good evening everyone,
Sorry if this has been posted before, I searched the sub and also googled it but all the results weren't quite what I was looking for.
I don't live in Jersey anymore, but grew up in Passaic County. Unfortunately, my dad unexpectedly passed away a couple of months ago. He was the biggest Giants fan I knew - season ticket holder for a LONG time, though to be honest I am surprised the move to MetLife wasn't what killed him, he hated it and gave up his tickets.
Anyways, I am returning home to Jersey for some estate stuff and I am planning to catch the Giants - Cowboys game next month. Awhile before he passed, he mentioned he wanted his ashes spread where the old stadium stood - NOT MetLife, ha.
I left NJ shortly after MetLife opened, so I am not too sure - does anyone know exactly where it was?
Based on the parking map on the Giants' site, is my memory correct in saying it was where Lot E is now? If not, where was it? I don't have to be at the 50 yard line or anything (though that would be cool if there's a marker somewhere) but just in the general vicinity. Are there any landmarks or signs or specific lot sections to look for?
Thank you very much for any help you guys may be able to provide. Best wishes everyone.
TL;DR - Where exactly in the MetLife lots was the old stadium?
We are from the area, so if anyone is going to the game let us know. We would be happy to answer questions on places to stay, things to do and the best ways to travel to the stadium.
We are also doing a Panthers fan only tailgate for anyone interested. Sam Darnold is going to shine in his return to Metlife Stadium and walk away with a convincing Win on the road.
Go Panthers!
Maybe everyone knows this, but I-95 is a major US highway leading along the East Coast. What I didn't realize until today is just how close these 7 stadiums are to the actual highway. Google maps says each stadium is +- 5 minutes away from an exit on the same highway.
Poo Poo on Atlanta and Carolina for putting their stadiums in the center of the state.
