Causeways and Corridors - Investigating a Giant Mystery
Some Grimoire Cards laid the crucial foundations of Destinyβs lore, being able to be seen in a completely different light thanks for more recent developments building on those foundations. Some, however, remain as just a Mysteryβ¦
And call me Hercule Poirot, because I think I've only gone and solved this one.
Ingress via dreams alone
Ghost Fragment: Mysteries 2 has always been one of my favourite Grimoire Cards - the vivid and specific descriptions contrast the uncertain, wandering voice of the narrator to produce a gorgeous, dreamlike tone.
- This tone is established by the Initial, the first sentence in the card below the title with an enlarged first letter: βIngress via dreams aloneβ. Our narrator saw these bizarre scenes in their dreams, joining the ranks of the many prophetic dreamers in Destiny's Universe.
- If we stretch the definition of βdreamingβ, perhaps our narrator could be a Thanatonaut like Pujari, ingressing while between life and death.
- Oneiromancy is divination from dreams, which is basically what we're doing in this post. Since The Oneiromantic Circle are responsible for the Kentarchs going into the Garden, I expect them to be developed eventually. Maybe this is one of their dreams.
- Ingress has another meaning in astronomy that seems pertinent to Destiny - the arrival of a celestial body in the sky. Could this line has a double meaning?
- I really enjoy the idea that the Traveler arrived in Sol not through physical motion and inertia, but that it dreamed of being in Sol and simply teleported/appeared here.
- Thereβs a bunch of fun iteration you can do in this vein, for instance:
- The First-Dreamer(Speaker)/Traveler connection guides her to the Dreamerβs system in order to uplift them - they connect to her wifi and text her their location.
- Through the First-Dreamer, how they interpret their dreams and react to them, the Traveler can tell quite a bit about this species and their level of development without revealing herself or getting close.
- There are very interesting consequences if someone other than the Gardener can influence the Trave

Can someone explain how Basalt columns at the Giant's Causeway formed into a hexagonal shape?
I always wondered how Basalt columns at the Giant's Causeway and other such places formed into a hexagonal shape? Why hexagonal, why not a circle or a triangle or any number of other shapes. What is it about the hexagon that nature decided to go with that shape.
Edit: Thank You everyone

Dublin, to Dark Hedges, to Giants Causeway
Hey all! Will be coming to your beautiful country in a few months for some travel. I am curious if anyone has experience with a private day driver? What are the roads like from Dublin to Dark Hedges and Giants Causeway? We are trying to drive to these spots for photos, but arenβt sure about driving ourselves because we donβt know the road conditions. Any advice on getting a private driver for a day to visit these locations?

Do I have to book tickets to go to Giants Causeway?
Can I just turn and walk down to see it without being charged? Or is it gated off and is the only way to see it by buying tickets?

The Giants Causeway Parking
I found this handy picture/post
https://www.reddit.com/r/assholedesign/comments/nbkgfx/accessing_the_giants_causeway_where_the_owner/
But am wondering what is the best parking option please
- Ive heard you can park in official car park and tell them to go away and not pay
- Some hotel (maybe this building?) once you pay x amount
- Some farmer had a field beside it for fiver
- Causeway Coast Way Car Park (but ten minute walk?)
P.S Hopefully ive better luck than my last thread and dont hit minus karmas

Giant fiery pillar west of Lake Ponchartrain Causeway
Can someone please tell me what the insanely bright light is west of the Lake Ponchartrain Causeway? Looked like an industrial smokestack with a 20ft fire coming out of it.
