... keep reading on reddit β‘In the OA they reference "irrational numbers", really early on, during BBA's internet search. They do this twice. Originally, she writes about it, and then you see it in her search history "the square root of 3". https://imgur.com/a/fYg5k
Other things that appear in her searches: "oak", "oasis" -- (each start with OA)

Link irrational numbers and the french revolution: https://books.google.com/books?id=SI5ip95BbgEC&pg=PA46&lpg=PA46&dq=irrational+numbers+and+the+french+revolution&source=bl&ots=1DM2k4i3Eu&sig=ACfU3U0F30MvA4WclfLX-KvQ8uyZ3HSRiQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwihmLfKzaf1AhXdnGoFHfT2BzEQ6AF6BAgnEAM#v=onepage&q=irrational%20numbers%20and%20the%20french%20revolution&f=false
Sure enough, irrational numbers link to a theory on the french revolution, and the square root of 3 specifically. It relates to how the revolution came about, and that this cause and effect forms an earlier, and continuous pattern throughout history to ages of enlightenment essentially. It also refers back to Hume, Dante's inferno, and several other philosopical concepts which I've mentioned quite a lot here, like idealism, chaos theory, meme theory. (DO NOT SKIP READING THE LINK, IT'S SHORT)
The idea being that the discovery of irrational numbers opened the minds of people, the idea of zero, very large numbers, and even imaginary numbers. Which leads into the concepts I mentioned in my recent matrix/oa theory.
In the 16th century these numbers were not considered legitimate, even up to the 19th century. Many believe thatthese numbers opened a view of an infinitely large universe to the public, just like the pale blue dot/overview effect seemed to reveal how vulnerable we really are, and how connected.
"An irrational number was a sign of meaninglessness in what had seemed like an orderly world. The Pythagoreans wanted numbers to be something you could count on, and for all things to be counted as rational numbers. The discovery of an irrational number proved that there existed in the universe things that could not be comprehended through rational numbers, threatening not only Pythagorean mathematics, but their philosophy as well."
This happened after the french revolution as well, is essentially the thought process, and the tale about killing Hippassus might reflect that. https://brilliant.org/wiki/his

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

" . . . It was this power to satirize and the fact that poets were eager to incite the nobles to rebellion that explains the irreconcilable hostility of the English toward them. The established judgment of the government toward the poets is no doubt expressed in the following memorandum: 'Bards. All their poetries tending to the furtherance of vice and the hurt of the English.' No wonder the commissioners of the King in Limerick ordained in 1549 that 'No rhymer [poeta] nor other person whatsoever shall make verses [carmina] or any other thing else called auran to any one after God on earth except the King, under penalty of the forfeiture of all his goods.'
From time to time special campaigns against the poets were mounted. For example, in the year 1415 there is an account of Lord Justice Talbot (Lord Furnivall) organizing attacks on Diarmaid Γ DΓ‘laigh, Dubhthach Mac Eochadha Eolaigh, and Muirgheas Γ DΓ‘laigh. In 1579, Sir Henry Harrington was appointed 'seneschal' and principal administrator of the land of Γ Byrne and other neighbourhoods. Here were some of his responsibilities:
> He shall make proclomation that no idle person, vagabond or masterlass man, bard, rymer, or other notorious malefactor, remain within the district on pain of whipping after eight days, and of death after twenty days.
He shall apprehend those who support such, and seize their goods, certifying the same to the lord deputy.
In a district adjacent to County Kildare, Gerald, the Earl of Kildare, and Piers fitz James of Ballysonnon had a special commission, which included the following mandate:
> They are also to punish by death, or otherwise as directed, harpers, rhymers, bards, idlemen, vagabonds, and such horse-boys as have not their master's bill to show whose men they are.
All this persecution took its toll, and a great number of poets came to a violent endβamong them, Eoghan Ruadh Mac an Bhaird, Muiris Ballach Γ ClΓ©irigh, Donnchadh an tSneachta Mac Craith, CΓΊ Connacht Γ CianΓ‘in, and Tadhg Dall ΓhUiginn.
It is strange to think that all the powers of the government were not able absolutely to wipe out and annihilate the poets and the tradition they represented. And there is an irrepressible irony in the fact that Sir John Perrott hired bards to sing the praises of the English Queen and that Lord Mountjoy and Sir George Carew bribed Aonghus Ruad Γ DΓ‘laigh to satirize the native familiesβif there is any truth in those allegations."

... keep reading on reddit β‘Itβs time for another MyTEAM Thesis. I snagged Jamaal Wilkes, Bob Cousy and Bob Pettit tonight. All-Time Dom is a rewarding grind. Itβs not always the easiest, but thatβs why your resident MyTEAM Professor is here. My job is to make your life easier. Letβs get down to business.
Defense is so important. Weβve received a plethora of strong defensive cards since I wrote my Current Domination Thesis. Some of those cards will definitely help you as you work through All-Time Dom. Dwyane Wade certainly costs a pretty penny, but his Gold Clamps helped me win the final three games tonight. Of course, there are many cheaper options that can help you on that end of the floor. I ran a three-headed inside monster of Serge Ibaka, Mitchell Robinson and Chris Boucher. Those big men obliterated so many shots in the paint. I also tossed in Rik Smits while I finished his XP Agenda yesterday, and heβs great in short spurts. He gets tired easily, so just be aware of that. Another great defender is Gerald Wallace. That guy does it all. Draymond was perfect for me at the 4. I finished Current Dom before I took on All-Time, so it was great to have Dray in my back pocket. When you have utility players like Wallace and Green, it makes the rest of your grind easier. I canβt recommend Robinson and Ibaka enough. Ibaka is a Top 3 Token Reward. Donβt @ me. Just kidding β you can @ me. Weβre all about dialogue in our class.
I always take time to recognize my MVP. If you know anything about me or have seen any of my content, you know that Derrick Rose is my favorite player to use in 2K. Dorian Finney-Smith is also up there, and I canβt wait until he gets his first card. Rose got to the basket at will. He has some of the most bonkers dribble moves I have ever seen. When I activated some pick-and-pop situations, the defense froze and had to make a decision. Ibaka got open for a jumper, or Rose zipped to the rim for another slam dunk. I got Rose because he is my favorite player in real life and because I have used him since 2K9, but if youβre looking for some cheaper options, Stephon Marbury and DeβAaron Fox will do the trick. Yesterdayβs Primetime Packs were great for a multitude of reasons. I highly recommend that everyone picks up Sapphire Larry Kenon. That card is very similar to his Diamond Token Reward. You canβt go wrong with Larry, who has staked his claim as a MyTEAM fan favorite over the years.
In no particular order, here are some more cards who helped me along the way: Fre

I used the top 969 players who have at least 10000 minutes played in their career.
Why 10000 minutes played? Because that's the lower standard set by Basketball-Reference to get on their ABA career leaderboard (15000 MP for NBA). I added George Mikan, because even though he hasn't played enough minutes, he's featured in All-Time ESPN NBARank and Bill Simmons Hall of Fame Pyramid.
I started off with the current 30 teams. To split up the Lakers and Clippers, I gave the Clippers their proposed Inglewood site.
