A list of puns related to "Galiano"
Don't see many people talk about the course but it looks interesting and not too difficult, what's the consensus from those who took the course and/or had the prof?
I'm moving in with family for the foreseeable future on Galiano and I can't seem to get a ferry reservation from Swartz. Doesn't matter much which day I sail as long as it's Weds the 30th or after. I currently live in Courtney and it's a bit of a pain to head down to Vic, and then not get on a sailing. So I ask you, which day from Weds the 30th to Weds the 7th would you go to make the odds in your favour?
E: Thanks folks I made it.
I am going camping this weekend on Galiano (my partner & I are both fully vaccinated and plan to be entirely responsible/contained, especially as I have Stage 4 cancer). On Saturday, the only morning ferry options are 5:50am and 9:40am, and they're unbookable.
Does anyone know approximately how busy it gets? I know it's hard to know, but just hoping for a general estimate. Would arriving an hour early do it? 90 minutes? Two hours?
Thank you!
I want to re-iterate that GAU had fantastic Q4. It had earnings per share of $0.08, which crushed the $0.04 consensus. I see this continuing to happen because of GAUβs ability to mine gold out of the ground at $1,100/oz - $1,300/oz, and because of inc. PM prices (duh, I know). But, I want to focus on Paul Wright who was appointed Chair of the Board of Directors.
Paul Wright was the CEO of Eldorado Gold Corporation $EGO for almost 20 years, he ended his time at the company in April 2017. EGO currently has a $2.0B market cap and stands at $11.40 a share, and many of you have heard of this successful gold miner, GAU market cap sits at $260 million, and $1.26 a share. I believe that senior management will be inspired and led in much the same way that EGO was under Paul, and GAU is quickly becoming a competitive junior miner.
I believe Paulβs connections to EGO will help this miner navigate the junior gold world, and his experience with operating mines in different parts of the world give him a good understanding for how to anticipate geo-political issues and take advantage of costs (labor, energy). Well managed companies leverage their connections, and GAU will too!
