I recently got into a spat about how one of my character's overswearing is a detriment of my overall story (Danganropa - AAA) So I want to know from you guys, since they (Miu, Mondo, and Fuyuhiko) swear the most. Does their tendency swearing come off as "one dimensional" as this person put it, because I disagree.

Since gallery posts are dead, I'll have to show the whole scene this way. Firstly, Hajime i know you meant well but come on.

Pretty much one of the only times we see him genuinely angry at someone who isn't Monokuma or Nagito since Peko and Mahiru's death

Now this is what stuck with me personally, not really that he instantly calms down but more so that you can see his remorse for losing his temper, he never wants to be the person he was in the beach house ever again. For someone who grew up 17 years being taught only violence, the fact that he's able to restraint himself in honour of both Peko and Mahiru but also shame over his past is damn impressive to me

After he murdered Satou, I think that Fuyuhiko was caught and spent some time in jail. Though because of his connections with the Kuzuryu clan, he made bail pretty quickly and Hope’s Peak Academy let him back into school. During the short time he was in jail, Fuyuhiko must’ve met other gang members. That’s when he learned that gang members usually have tattoos, which is why he was embarrassed to tell Hajime that he didn’t have any “ink” in Island Mode

I think he swears like a sailor and makes empty threats to try to look more intimidating. He really doesn’t need to go about it that way, though. He already carries himself like a tough man who has a lot of experience with the darker parts of society
