A list of puns related to "Fte"
Hello,
I am currently have been working on an hourly contract rate of $35/hr as a product operations associate in Chicago (remote). I was hired through a 3rd party firm and my conversion is "Free" from my company's standpoint now that I have crossed over 1k hours.
I am trying to figure out an approximation of what they had to pay the firm on top of my hourly rate so I can give a reasonable salary request tomorrow. This was just dropped on me so I am in a bit of a panic now (and excited!).
If it helps I was specifically called out by the CPO of the company on getting converted next.
Any context would be helpful thanks!
EDIT: I very much appreciate all the helpful insight provided here. This subreddit is invaluable!
Hi everyone. I was gifted a 10β 7.62 x 39 upper about a year ago alongside a duramag 28 rnder. Slapped the x39 upper on my .223 lower (carbine length spring and H2 Buffer) and was able to send maybe 2-3 down the barrel before getting a FTF or FTE. This would happen multiple times. Did a little research and polished the feed ramps with a dremel to a mirror finish. Still ended up running into the same issue. Ended up putting the project aside out of frustration. Now that Iβm revisiting this build I figured Iβd ask some questions for the professionals.
1.) could a heavier buffer help with issue? Iβve heard of people having success with using a 9mm buffer?
I measure the gas port on the barrel and itβs coming in at around .08 in diameter. Should I have a gun smith open this up to .125?
should I dremel away the M4 feed ramp to make it more like the bushmasters feed ramp that consists of one large feed ramp? Thank you all in advance.
You can tell a lot about a company by their hiring plans. On yahoo it is recorded that CLNE has 465 employees. However this number is taken from 2020 reported employee counts. https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CLNE/
On their Linkedin profile it shows 1k - 5k employees. With about 119 open job opportunities, including a director of SEC reporting. https://www.linkedin.com/company/clean-energy-fuels-corp
If they currently have 465 FTE employees, this would be a hiring increase of 24% of the company. This is a possible display of growth in hiring to show the companies needs in increasing demand capacity.
In the past 3 months, we have seen the image change ( https://pub.webull.com/us/news-html/3addb4fc2646486d9c6f01eb7ad44a17.html?theme=1&color=2&hl=en&android_sdk_int=30&canary-version=&_v=1&sp=1&tickerId=913256728&disSymbol=CLNE)
And the company liquidating over 200million dollars worth of investment for new RNG projects. (https://www.tradingview.com/news/mtnewswires.com:20210609:A2439167:0-clean-energy-fuels-rallies-after-raising-nearly-200-million-from-stock-offerings/)
The question remains when will the share price catch up to this growth?
Iβm looking at joining an org that is out of state, working full time remote. Are there tax implications I need to consider? (I.e. the state I reside in does not have a state income tax, the state my employer resides in does have a state income tax).
Edit: Thanks everyone for the insight. Iβll double check with HR to confirm. Sounds like it can vary despite it often being the state of residence.
Basically title, been FTE for 10 years, but am getting many recruiters tempting me with 100% remote work for Clarity reporting work. I don't mind some uncertainty in the future, but the demand now seems insane, is this normal? Or will it go down and will I have trouble in the future?
Thanks!
I saw this was available and had to run down and pick up a gram, even at $90. π’ π΅ It appears to be the first time diamonds in sauce have shown up in KC.
It looks great, and smells wonderful. I'll be giving it a spin this evening in a Puffco Peak.

Ryoma POV
It's a bright afternoon.
Ryoma is sitting on a bench in the Usami Park, fiddling with his candy cigarette. And deep in thought.
The recent events gave him a lot to think about. And just as much stuff to reevaluate.

You are walking around a park when you happen to stumble upon a large, relatively empty tennis court. By "relatively empty" I mean the there is no one save for one person.
Upon approaching the entrance gates and getting a closer look, you discover that that person is Ryoma. Standing in the middle of the court, balancing a tennis ball on a tennis racquet. He seems to be unaware of your presence. Unless...
Normally, it would be hard to imagine Ryoma coming to a public tennis court just like that. Something must have happened to change his mind this much...but maybe Ryoma won't feel like talking about that...
But maybe he will feel like talking about something else, or maybe even playing a game or two with someone...if they suggest first, of course.
So, feel like taking on the Ultimate Tennis Pro today, or not really?

I am a newly hired B.Ed Tech teacher (secondary occasional roster TDSB or HWDSB) and I was wondering if I accept a LTO now for September, am I then unable to apply to any FTE contracts that may come up in July/Aug? Should I not accept an LTO yet and wait and see if a FTE opens up?
Thank you for the help!
Do you think Kazuichi was abused by his dad? While he did say he got the crap beat out of him, it was from the context of having bunked from something his parents wanted him to go to enjoy himself.
I mean, maybe I'm seeing it wrong but he acted pretty lightly about it and just sounded more like corporal punishment rather than abuse. Other than that, he never complains about his family (besides his dad being kinda useless if I'm remembering the fte's correctly but didn't treat him badly)

Iβm looking to meet with an accountant and/or financial advisor and wondering if there are any special offers for FTEs. I get emails sometimes but donβt know if they are spam or legitimate resources.
I have used the sk-2 clear lotion m to prep for FTE, and I really like them together, but Iβm wondering if I should repurchase or if thereβs any even better options out there. I have tried searching for the pH of either of these two and havenβt found anything :( any recommendations for another option to the Clear Lotion (or maybe even better?) Iβm in Japan but also have pretty easy access to K beauty
I shot all my rounds fine. I tried to teach her proper technique but to me itβs an uphill battle considering sheβs new to this and is a tiny person haha
I work as a Dev with a service company S for a client C. Itβs just been 3 months and I want to move from being a FTE(Full time employee) at S to a FTE at C. How do I do this? Both companies are in the same city in India
Hello I was looking around and found a few posts that were very helpful in helping me to set my expectations for this rate.
I have ~5 YOE and base salary of 150k and ~70k in RSUs per year most recently at FAANG
Is it ok for me to set my hourly rate at $150/hr?
It seems so absurd for me to ask for such because of my culture and upbringing. Could I get some peers to help confirm or navigate my rate?
Hey everyone,
I made the leap from FTE Epic support for the last 6 years to consulting. I left my previous location for various reasons and thought consulting would be the right move (a bit regretful). I was under the impression the customer would be 100% remote with on-site support for the go-live in March of next year. This customer is a complete disaster and I can't see them even making that deadline at all. Anyway, the customer has now decided there needs to be 1 week on-site a month starting this month which I won't be able to do at all giving my location and family situation. I'm also not happy with the work that has been assigned as it's outside of what they initially said would be the bulk of work... Any one have any similar things come up? Any thoughts on options?
Hi. I have started a new job in the NHS. I used to work in a university and my old team is keen that I keep a minimal contract with the uni (to do with affiliations and publications etc.etc.). We have agreed a 0.1fte contract in my old job and a 1 fte ob in my new one. I won't get a P45 from my old employer because I haven't left. I can easily get a P60.
I want my new job to be my main job, and my 0.1 fte to be my second job. What do I need to do to set that up?
My NHS trust HR have been unable to give me an answer so far...
Thank you!

I've been in an FTE role in Beaker for 2 years at my organization. I was a super user before making the transition over to an analyst role but I was not involved in the configuration at go-live. So I have no concept of how implementations differ from the analyst/consultant perspective as well as the distinctions between the responsibilities consultants vs the newer analysts pulled from operations as far as how the build is set up. How much guidance and structure does Epic provide? Does it involve a lot of build from ground up or tweaking Foundation? How much support will the TS provide and is there an expectation that as the consultant you should know a lot in depth? What does the change control process look like?
Since I've started I've focused on touching on as many different areas in my role as I can when it comes to build, interfacing with instruments, reference labs, and between EHRs. But I'm not sure if and how these skills translate to a role in implementation vs maintenance. I'm wondering if implementation would be a good fit for me personally and/or if working in the current system for longer will add more to my skillset or if it's too different to really say. It may all vary depending on the scope of the organization looking to implement but I'm wondering what to keep in mind about the nature of the work.
I feel like while my current workplace is very supportive of me learning while working in the system at the same time I'd like to get involved in an implementation that would be ground up configuration and that isn't an opportunity that would be available where I am. I also feel like because I was an internal transfer I was locked into a salary that had more to do with what I made in an unrelated role and less to do with what I could offer as an analyst, but I'm not sure how off base I am about that and FTE vs consultant salaries.
If anyone would be willing to share their experiences and offer some career guidance I would really appreciate it! And please feel free to address any assumptions I may be making. Thanks in advance!
I have an interview tomorrow for a 0.6 FTE position and while I am aware that this is a part-time position, does this mean I'll only be paid 60% of what regular, full-time teachers make?
Has anyone accepted a position like this before and what have your responsibilities/position looked like?
Iβm having a serious stove piping problem with my 10/22
Running a voltquartsen bolt tune up kit and charging handle/spring
Tried blazer ammo and federal white box and blue box with same results. I did have some cci ammo run good but idk if that was a fluke or what, becuase i only have 50 rounds of it
Anyone have any insight on what i should look at on the gun to see if itβs a mechanical problem or is it most likely ammo related?
No think just the headcanon that Sonia reminds Gundham of his deceased mother and thatβs why they got so close so quickly
I figured this would be appropriate here.
A little over a year ago I accepted a contractor position with the potential of being hired on full-time with a fortune 50 company. I was, at the time, on another contract role with a competing Fortune 50 company that I knew that once my allowable time to be contracted was complete, I'd be out of a job. So the possibility of conversion was enticing plus a significant pay increase.
What I wasn't told (and I couldn't find this on the interwebs anywhere) is that I would have to essentially go through the entire hiring process. That means:
I had to wait for the posting to be available on the external board to apply
I needed to apply to the position through their portal (I figured this as much, but I thought this would be post-offer as a formality)
HR Recruiter screening
Interview
Decision and offer
Thing is, even though I've been doing this job for a year, I must go through this process and nothing is guaranteed. The same exact number full-time positions were opened as there are contractors on our team.
As of now, my screening is scheduled for Monday. The only guarantees I have is to make it to the interview stage. Although my manager cannot guarantee me anything, he did provide a vote of confidence that be felt good about all of us being hired.
I was just curious if any of you had ever gone through a similar process and what the outcomes were. According to some I've talked to at my previous company, this is fairly standard practice for larger companies.
Why I thought differently is because my first-ever contract position I was just brought into the manager's office and they pretty much said "we like you, hers an offer for full-time". Unfortunately, I was still waiting for stuff to go through with my last contractor role when offered.
What say you, fellow Redditors?
I am weighing the pros and cons of taking a contract position, which I havenβt done before. What are things I should consider?
All I know about contract work is: -they donβt take any taxes out -no benefits, no health insurance -less networking -not a part of team/culture -may or may not turn into a job -less stable
This is for a data analyst role. They are offering 40/hr. But my current annual salary is 75k with great health coverage.
What factors should I consider? What do you wish you knew before taking your first contract role? Why do people generally look down on contract offers, I donβt get it...?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
