Theories on Death Framing Sequence?

So... Death has a very interesting framing sequence. Shinji playing the cello in an auditorium, being joined by three other people who are likely Rei, Asuka and Kaworu. Now, there's no place in the anime where such a scene could occur. But what's interesting is that the auditorium Shinji is playing in is the same location that the TV ending occurs in. Is this TV-ending Shinji post-TV, reflecting on what has happened? A glimpse of an alternate Instrumentality? Or just meaningless fanservice?

Do you have a theory on whether that framing sequence can be contextualized in some way or form?

Here is a fan comic i made based on the framing sequences of the gravity falls halloween anthology episode called little gift shop of horrors,It takes place during the framing sequence as Stan tells 3 scary stories to a wandering person whose car stopped when it ran out of fuel and the character in this comic is based on alex hirsch himself,

These comics are combination of the old EC horror comics and the british amicus horror anthology films framing sequences

Parenting movement/avoiding locked framing in nested sequences

Right, I know I should probably be using after effects for this as I'm animating, but I am really going to struggle with moving my entire workflow over so I'm attempting to find a solution in Premiere.

My problem is that I need to group a selection of clips together, all of which have their own independent movement properties, and move them all together on top of that - as in a general 'master' movement.

I would normally just nest them together and apply the movement to the nested sequence, but the clips I have nested together are larger than the frame of the sequence. So when I nest them, the framing of the nested sequence chops off the sides, so if I want to move the nested sequence I can't see the edges of the original clips. I can't seem to find a way to change the settings inside the nested sequence in order to say change the workflow to 4k in the nested sequence so I have some play in my main 1080p timeline.

My other thought was that I might be able to anchor the clips to a master clip, such as a transparent video layer, so that I could effectively parent movement from the transparent video creating a sort of open-ended nested sequence that I can edit inside my main timeline. The clips that would initially just be piled into a nested sequence would become child clips of the transparent video parent. I can't seem to find a way to do this either.

My last thought was that perhaps I could just apply a second 'motion' effect that applies motion properties after the first. Effectively parenting motion inside a single clip. This way I could apply the master movement to a single clip and just copy the motion properties of it onto the remaining clips. I can't do this either.

If you are clever enough to know how to do any of this stuff or have another solution then please let me know! My brain is fried and I just really really don't want to have to go to after effects! Thank you

Is there a way to make this color frame sequencer better?

I made a 10 frame color sequencer for shading because I didn't want to manually change the object color every 10 frames.

I've looked through YouTube for a tutorial but I haven't really seen one that tackles this issue. Maybe I haven't dug deep enough or maybe I just missed it but I made this shading node just to solve my issue.

Is there a way to make this less bulkier and better?

10 Frame Color Sequencer

Frame Sequencer (set to change every 10 frames from 50-250)

Color Picker (wave texture randomizes the color it picks)

I can't control what the color picker picks and if I meddle with any of the nodes it will repick all the colors.

example of what it does.

What it does when I touch any node.

How to avoid re-rendering of 3D frames reused on Video Sequences?

I use Blender as a video editor and made some (non-professional) plugins to help with that. One of them is for "fancy" subtitles. Because the "Text" effect strip is very limited, it creates the text as a 3D object and imports it as a scene strip in the Video Sequence Editor.

It works, the only minor issue is that it seems to render the 3D text for every frame but in most cases (when there is no marquee animation ^* ) the 3D part does not change at all. Is it possible to only render the 3D text once and reuse it in several video frames? (... without having to save it to an image file, which sounds like overengineering and much more limited for corrections).

Thanks

Here it is the code (all the action happens in create_subtitle_operator.py):
https://github.com/Crul/cqtc-blender-tools/tree/master/src/cqtc_subtitles

Playback stutters even when the entire project is just a single read node, frame sequence, cached

Which is baffling. In what world do cached frames suffer playback issues? Even Adobe's much maligned softwares don't have this issue!

I know others have asked this question but I can't find any answers on here that address the issue of playback still being an issue on a single, cached read node. Files are all on fast drives, separate to the OS drive.

It's my first week in Nuke! Loving it so far but this particular issue is baffling. My machine is a bit of a beast too.

The playback is particularly weird in that the choppiness is weirdly consistent; it doesn't struggle and freeze on random intermittent frames, rather it seems to play back the frames in really consistent batches of like 12 frames with a small pause in between each. To put that another way, it doesn't really look like the type of conventional lag I've seen in other editing/animation softwares when the system is under heavy load.
