From the 2 trailers I have seen, it shows how special Ethan's child is. But I wonder what's so special about her.
We already know mold was capable of storing memories one of the reasons papa baker was able to keep his memories intact after getting his head blown up, or communicate with Ethan while he was caged in the Mold along with his daughter in sane state.
I wonder if Evelin created a backup of sorts inside Mia and fulfilled her wish to be the daughter of her and Ethan through this method. And one of the reason we see Chris killing Mia is so that no more of these Backups ever come to light[multiple baby Evelin].
And due to being born the natural way, the baby doesn't have the weakness or restraints the original Evelin had[accelerated aging.] But she also evolved and holds more potential hence the remnants of the Nexbas are after her.
We already know Evelin was 5th iteration of the mold and the new mold may even be more evolved.
I had such a hard time watching them on Love Games because her behavior is so toxic and abusive. She puts Corey down every chance she gets. In their last episode (16), she told him to โlisten to the questionโ when he was joking around. She calls him fat, she blames him for getting questions wrong and then canโt handle when she does terrible on the speed round. She just seems so controlling and rude and every time sheโs on this series, and I remember in their previous seasons she was just as bad. Corey moved away from all his family and friends, so heโs pretty much isolated from any support. It just seems like such a toxic and abusive relationship.
I hate how in a way Evelin is so abusive towards Corey. Telling him that he needs to work out more and that she hates his body and he just wants to stay โfluffyโ itโs disgusting. I feel so bad for Corey. Also her throwing a temper tantrum cause she didnโt get the answers right and walking off. Sheโs a sore loser and itโs not a good look
Itโs NOT okay to be that jealous. Especially when you cheated on your husband HOW MANY TIMES? And he went on one date with Larissa and she gets high school girl jealous on him. Girl, youโre toxic. Corey is too nice for her. She obviously runs the show and I sincerely feel bad for him. He needs to find someone that respects him and doesnโt walk all over him. Rant over.
Edit to add: even the host was like โ ohhh Corey youโre in trouble....โ the guy is a total pushover and I feel so bad for him. But maybe heโs into that. I donโt even know.
My wife and I are about half way through S1 of 90DF:The Other Way and we both agree that Evelin is a complete bitch. She treats Corey like shit and I hate how she expects him to take care of her. I was like "so she wants to be like Peggy from Married With Children" and my wife was like "except she doesn't want to get married or have children". All this after he has spent literally tens of thousands of dollars on her and her family in gifts and investments.
I will say though that her English is surprisingly good for someone who is from Ecuador's equivalent of Bumblefuck and I wonder where she got that husky (considering that those things usually cost hundreds of dollars and she is from a poor area, also I don't imagine huskies are widely available in Ecuador). All the other dogs in the town look super skinny, ragged and dirty as one would expect from dogs in such a location.
Did anyone else see Evelins freak out when they brought up Larissa in the game? She also talked about being the prettiest in the room like no lol
Iโm watching season 1 the other way. Sheโs such a awful and ugly person. I donโt understand why there isnโt more hate for her. Sheโs as evil as Leida.
Not sure if this has been talked about a bunch but... Iโm rewatching TOW season 1. I am appalled once again at how much of a bitch Evelin is..
She demands money from him before she gets on her plane ($500). She was like โyouโre gonna send me home with no money?โ
And then when she refused to pick him up at the airport. Thatโs such an unnecessary thing to be a bitch about. Who has to worry about that?
Then she tells him to just go back home if he doesnโt like bugs in Ecuador. She is literally such a bitch idk. Thereโs so many examples it would take too long to write them all. Anyone agree? Maybe Iโm missing something.
I'm watching the episode where he leaves the US to move to Ecuador & she doesn't even show up to the airport because "he needs to do things on his own" & I'm floored. Her parents are telling her she's wrong & basically too cold towards him & she's sitting there saying "hopefully he doesn't get mugged"??? She's so shitty.
I'm American, I married a foreigner. I have flown from the US to his country & back for 2-3 yrs. He lives 2 hrs from the capital & is always there when I arrive after a 20 hr trip. I mean, it's exhausting. When he'd visit I'd drive up to meet him at the airport, too. It's just so nice to see the one you love when you arrive. Especially when you're moving for good. It's hard. & She keeps pulling the culture card. "In my culture the man provides" well the women stay home & care for children & she doesn't want any so if I were her I'd get a job rather than be a hypocrite. I'm Latina too Corey & you chose a real shitty one! If anyone has any good things to say about her please share them because so far she's just coming off as abusive.
