Hello. New profile made just to make this postโ been lurking for a while now and have really learned a lot through this community: r/personalfinance. Iโve actually been doing some of the things highlighted here alreadyโ but I thought I needed a solid plan to really follow.
25/F. LCOL. 5 years ago, had no job. Was in school for nursing and lived with my wonderful mom.
- Graduated three years ago became an RN, first job ever!
- Bought a 2014 Nissan Sentra (paid off).
- Paid off student loans, total of $13,250 (always maxed out my student loans to give the extra money to my mom).
- Bought a house 4 months ago, valued at $84,500, still owe $66,000.
The other people in my family are not... very good with money but a very good friend of mine has helped me with financial decisions and has helped me gain some financial stability. Also, due to my family not being very good with money, I had family members borrow money from me (even as a young child), manipulated me to get money, and never paid me back (good note: those family members I have not dealt with anymore).
Due to all that I became very, very stingy and grew up feeling like I couldnโt spend a single cent for myself and would have to give the money up to some uncle or aunt or whoever else needed help. I am doing better now though and have been able to invest in both my future and myself.
So I would really like to continue this journey and commit to creating a better financial future for myself, my family, and my own future family (whether it be an actual partner and our child, an adopted child, or fur babies).
On to the details! And excuse me if I use certain terms or phrases incorrectly! Still new to to FIRE world and also, English is not my first language! I would greatly appreciate any corrections too!

The Master of the Mystic Arts himself somehow gains all of the powers of a post-Endgame Wanda Maximoff, aka Scarlet Witch. He now becomes The Witch Doctor and is on a bloodlusted mission for total domination of the MCU.

Witch Trials often brings the middle ages to mind, yet the Salem Witch Trials are always held up as the example. It is much easier to find information and reading on the American witch trials than on the numerous European ones that had many more victims and took place over the centuries.
What makes me Salem Witch trials more noteworthy and accessible than the German, Swedish and Scottish witch trials?
Edit: I've received a few hateful messages about me being American-centric and stupid for asking this question. I grew up in a European country and never learned much about the European witch trials at school. Please stop sending me these messages.
The #Metoo movement started off great, don't get me wrong. But it has deviated so far from its original purpose. Instead of justice being served, and there being a great deal of empowerment for victims of sexual assault and harassment. It has become a platform for slander and for ruining lives. The simple fact that it is running on the basis of "guilty until proven innocent" gives it a power which has been abused and mishandled. For example, in the 2018 Ontario general election, unproven allegations of sexual misconduct came to light against conservative candidate Patrick Brown. He was immediately forced to resign regardless of there being no proof of his supposed misdeeds. As a result of this, we now have Doug Ford as premier. As a guy, this concept terrifies me. I have done nothing wrong, and the fact that despite that, anyone with a bone to pick could ruin any career or future success I might have makes me despise the movement and the witch hunt it's become.
Am i the only one who always felt weird about the fact Than Irma stepmother is her stepmother ? They look so alike ! I had read the comics only like the early period of this year, but the show is my childhood, so, it's even feel more weird.
The father of Will is really a asshole, and when i compare to the show, it's had been really weird for me.
Am i the only one who hated the fact than Taranee wasn't her parents blood daughter ? It just felt wrong for me.
I love how this Cornelia have such a good relation with her sister, it is far more sweet than in the show.
I really hope SC will release a mid season nerf for those cards that are creating probably the most rock paper scissors meta I've ever seen. Even CRL pros are saying that they don't want to play the playoffs in this meta. I believe that when 3 cards absolutely dominate the game, there are some pretty major issues that have to be solved. Challenges are close to unplayable if you don't rock a elixir golem, witch or wall breakers deck. It's sad
update: alright thanks everyone, i crafted even shaman without the 6 mana legendary spell, the deck was fairly cheap so i even had 2000+ dust left up, might craft glack bomb warrior with it later since i am only missing the wild part of this deck ( brann, loetheb and some rares).

So after like 10 years I'm starting to get back into witchcraft. Thing is I'm reading several books on the subject and one of them, 'Modern Guide to Witchcraft' by Skye Alexander, seems to emphasize the Law of Attraction (keep in mind I'm not even 5 chapters in).
Here's the problem; I think the Law of Attraction is bull****. As someone with a mood disorder I don't have control of my thoughts and emotions all the time, yes even with medicine. So the idea that my thoughts attract what I think about makes me angry because 1: it means I somehow brought my mood disorder on myself and 2: I'm doomed to a life of misery because my disorder leans on the depressive side of things.
But isn't that what magic is? Putting your thoughts and energy out there and hoping you get the response you want because the Universe vibes with it? Can I still be a witch and think that positive thoughts and feelings on their own will never get me anything, even with a little bump from a spell?
