Please consider changing rule #6. I love this sub, but the recent influx of NSFW tagged posts that get all the upvotes, just seem wrong when there are good solid DAD jokes being overlooked because of them.

If you don't know them, I suggest finish playing until Act I: Farewell, Archaic Lord and watch a playthrough of the event Unreconciled Stars on YouTube. Search them upon the wiki as well before reading on. You could also read my December 2020 post: An Introduction to the Fatui Harbingers (AKA The Huge Harbinger Hype Post). As nothing has been revealed about them since then except for this artifact set (which actually reveals quite a lot so I'm excited), the post can still be considered accurate as of writing. Please note that I'll be copy-pasting from my post quite a bit since I want to roll out this propaganda information ASAP as a Harbinger simp.

So there's 11 of them, with 9 having confirmed names by now. Surprised there's actually already so many of them? That's understandable. Only Scaramouche, Signora, and Tartaglia have shown up in the game so far. And of those three, only Tartaglia is really known to us, with him already being a playable character and having his story quest Monocaerus Caeli Chapter: Act I released with Version 1.1. The Dottore has been featured in the official manga though. And maybe you can also count Pulcinella's obscured face in the Teyvat Chapter Storyline Preview: Travail as an appearance? I'm desperate, okay. As for the rest, they're as faceless as the Cicin Mages, Agents, and Skirmishers that roam Teyvat.
So why do I simp care so much for a group of villains that are still largely faceless at the moment? That's because they're like, the evil student council to the Traveller's new student. They're the top-ranking Snezhnayan military officers (and/or cult leaders,

Keep in mind, my son is 4 years old, so everything is an original to him.
I had to work late into the evening yesterday, and he was just going to bed when I got home. I had left home for the office nearly 14 hours prior, had a long day, lots of meetings, traffic, etc.
When I walked through the door, I was exhausted, run down, and starving. My wife hugged me and asked how my day was, and I replied, "Done. It was a good day, but has got me exhausted. I just want to grab a bite and go to bed. I'm hungry."
From my son's bedroom, I hear him shout, "Hi Hungry! Nice to meet you!"
Not only did it make me laugh, but I completely forgot about how hungry and tired I was. I went to his bedroom, and we laughed together about it. It was exactly what I needed.

I haven't seen another post exactly like this or really anywhere (there was a post about activating Xingqiu's Elemental Burst, Beidou's Elemental Burst and Zhongli's Shield against Dvalin, but that isn't 100%+ Damage Reduction).

Damage Reduction Breakdown
What is Damage Reduction?
Damage (DMG) Reduction is pretty self explanatory. It reduces the incoming DMG you take. It's a separate "attribute" from defence, resistance, etc..
Currently, the only things that give DMG Reduction in Genshin Impact is in a percentage, so anytime I reference DMG Reduction, it's a percentage.
Defence & Resistance
You can read more about Defence (DEF) and Resistance (RES) on the Genshin Impact Wiki:
The gist is that DEF and RES lowers the amount of damage taken. They also follow their own formulas that ultimately come together in the final Incoming DMG formula.
Note that currently in Genshin Impact, DEF is a stat you can specifically build, while RES is something innate in enemies (DEF and RES modifiers also exist by other means), etc. that you can read more from the link above.
Heals vs Shields vs Damage Reduction
I've previously written about this in another post, so I'll just copy/paste it here.
Shields increase the effective Health Points (HP) you have and have a varied range of durations. They prevent DMG and make sure you don't get one shot by a really strong enemy ability. Shields don't "stick" i.e. they expire due to their time duration.
Heals recover HP up to the maximum HP a char has. Heals "stick" because there's no time duration on the HP you get from a heal.
Shields and DMG Reduction are pre-emptive, while healing is a lot more reactionary (you can only heal if you've taken DMG. Take too much, you're almost always forced to heal).
Heals and shields are different but serve the same goal: Make you survive if you will be taking DMG.
Currently, miHoYo is making different shields provide additional effects e.g.:
