Hi,
I recently learned about being able to copy and paste graphics from excel into word as in enhanced metafile format. I especially liked this as I sometimes combine table element with graphs.
However two things are bugging me:
- The graphs seem kind of awkwardly skewed, most noticeable in the kerning of fonts
- the dimensions in Excel and Word (or Power Point) are different. The size in cm differs greatly after pasting into Word and then resizing the graphic to 100%, it's much bigger
Are there some workarounds for this? Especially the skewed fonts are really setting me off as the differences in kerning are subtle which makes it even more irritating.

Hi all! Can anyone help me with following task- I have an xlsm file, that contains some graphs on certain separate sheets.
I am thinking of a Macro, that creates a Word file, listing the graphs from certain sheets, copied as enhanced metafile images with certain size.
Is that possible at all and which is the best approach?

I have a chart with 8 data series plotted. I have deleted 4 of these series from my legend. I want to paste this as an image into word with the legend as-is. When I paste my chart, the legend gets messed up. Has anyone experienced this? Why does this happen?
I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

Hello Windows Insiders, today we’re releasing Windows 11 Build 22000.282to Windows Insiders in the Beta and Release Preview Channels.
This update includes the following improvements:
- We fixed an L3 caching issue that might affect performance in some applications on devices that have AMD Ryzen processors after upgrading to Windows 11 (original release).
- We fixed an issue for a small number of users that prevents the Start menu from working and prevents you from seeing the updated taskbar design after upgrading to Windows 11 (original release).
- We fixed a race condition that occurs during the early part of startup that might cause a stop error.
- We fixed a regression that might cause stop error 0x38 on some machine configurations that use non-ASCII text in the registry.
- We fixed an issue with the interrupt handling of certain processors that might cause devices to stop responding.
- We fixed an issue that causes PowerShell to create an infinite number of child directories. This issue occurs when you use the PowerShell Move-Item command to move a directory to one of its children. As a result, the volume fills up and the system stops responding.
- We fixed an issue that causes the Server Manager application to disappear after you use it to remove Hyper-V features. This issue occurs when you install Server Manager on Windows 11 (original release) clients using Remote Server Administration Tools (RSAT).
- We fixed a threading issue that might cause the Windows Remote Management (WinRM) service to stop working when it is under a high load.
- We fixed an issue that causes the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) provider host process to stop working. This occurs because of an unhandled access violation that occurs when using the Desired State Configuration (DSC).
- We fixed an issue that causes a device to stop responding when you forcibly shut down the device while a Group Policy is being updated.
- We fixed an issue that causes file migration between Distributed File System (DFS) paths that are stored on different volumes to fail. This issue occurs when you implement the migration using PowerShell scripts that use the Move-Item command.
- We fixed an issue that prevents you from writing to a WMI repository after a low memory condition occurs.
- We fixed an issue with a hardcoded font in the PowerShell shortcut file that distorts Japanese, Chinese, and Korean language fonts. This update fixed this issue for all newly created users on the

- The core DLLs, including NTDLL, KERNEL32, GDI32, USER32, etc. are
built in PE format. This should help a number of copy protection
schemes that check that the DLL files on disk match the in-memory
contents.
- There is a new mechanism to associate a Unix library with a PE
module, to make it possible to call Unix libraries from PE for the
functions that can't be handled with Win32 APIs.
These libraries are found by replacing the PE module file extension
with .so, for instance ntdll.dll -> ntdll.so. They have to be
located next to the PE file on disk.
- Winelib modules no longer link against libwine.so, or require it at
run-time. This is a backwards incompatible change, meaning that
modules built with Wine 6.0 won't run on older Wine versions.
