In September of 2012 Hideo Kojima first talked about how his newly build "Foxengine" might also be used for other Konami properties like "Silent Hill"...
"Kojima said that the engine, though unfinished, is already at a level that his company can start making a game with it. He teased the possibility of another Konami property, Silent Hill, taking advantage of the engine, but until Saturday, the content of Kojima's game was unknown. "

Later that month Kojima personally confirmed that the then president of Konami "Tomoyuki Tsuboi" personally asked him to develop the next entry in the "Silent Hill" franchise.
"In the past I've mentioned Silent Hill in interviews, and as a result of that the president of Konami rung me up and said he'd like me to make the next Silent Hill"

First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.

I mean, not that I haven't listened to them before, but I figured it'd be fun. Do I need an excuse to listen to Dream Theater? This is the results of the past two weeks of listening to stuff on Spotify and Youtube.
When Dream and Day Unite: A
This is the only album that I hadn't listen to until recently, though I was familiar with some of the tunes via live releases. However, I was able to get my hands on it, and I have to say I've listened to it three times this week alone. It's pretty damn good, but it suffers from two things: 1) awful production, and 2) lack of band cohesion. To paraphrase James LaBrie: "All the Kevin Moore songs are so lyrically dense. He had a lot to say, but he didn't have to say it all in one sentence." It's also obvious from the get-go that Dominici was a weird fit with the rest of the band. Great voice, and you should listen to the Beatles cover from the official bootleg if you get a chance, but really belonged on Broadway. Kevin Moore is also a very strange fit, despite being one of Petrucci's closest childhood friends. We'll come back to that.

James LaBrie in 1992 was one of the most powerful singers on the planet. This one has been a part of me since college, and the songs are still great. I was surprised to find I didn't hate Surrounded as much this time around. Maybe age has softened me a bit, but it was one I would skip constantly. I still don't love it, and Under a Glass Moon is still my favorite song from this album. It is definitely the album that is firmly planted in the early 90s, though. That echo snare is something fierce.
Awake: S
This song is excellent from start to finish. I always forget the Lifting Shadows off a Dream is as good as it is, as it's a bit of a slow start. But standouts like Scarred, The Mirror, Lie, 6:00... oh man. I'll still drum 6:00 if I'm killing time and need something to do with my hands. The one thing that's depressing about this album is that it's so good because of all the bad things happening behind the scenes. It's very clear this album was written by friends who were falling out, and fast. You can tell Moore is just done with the band. Hell, 6:00 is literally a blow-by-blow of the writing of this album from his perspective.
A Change of Seasons: B
The title track is an S tier song, but I always felt the medleys were missing the context. They're cool, but they just don't do it for me. Perfect Strangers is excellent, and kind of massiv
