Not sure how much I believe it, but according to ESPN Eichel is very close to returning.
In his player notes, says he will return to this ice this week and play his first game of the 21-22 season. Unsure why they would rush him back.
I was under the impression he hadn’t even been cleared for contact yet, so do with this information what you will. But may be worth a stash and grab sooner rather than later on most teams as he could easily carry you through playoffs (41.9% owned).

What cap moves could the Vegas Golden Knights make once Eichel is lifted from LTIR?
How much over the cap will they be if he were to come off of LTIR today assuming the entire roster is healthy. Don’t want to see this team pull a Tampa and circumvent the cap to win it all.
Where do you think Vegas trades Smith and Dadonov to, in order to clear cap space for Eichel?
They are probably going to have to pay someone to take on Dadonov, considering he's making $5M this year and next and he only has 6-5-11 in 23 GP. Dadonov also has a 10-team no-trade list.
Smith, on the other hand, will be easily tradable as he's a rental top 6 winger, who has 10-8-18 in 23 GP, and has no trade protection.
After a quick peruse on capfriendly, I think the Rangers would be a good landing spot for Smith. They have a lot of cap space, they're not going to have to pay out anything close to their maximum bonuses, they have their 1st, 2 2nds, and arguably need an upgrade at 2RW.
