I applied late October and since then I am in limbo. Dead silence from the University. Not a single mail whatsoever. I have seen many recieving offers despite the University famed for generating offers at a snail's pace. Should I assume rejection and move on or keep my hopes because the deadlines for the other Unis are nearing.
The book is Historical linguistics:an introduction. By Lyle Campbell. I just found out that besides its printing by MIT press, it's also printed by Edinburgh.
I've seen that sometimes european versions of books are deprived of some content.
Or maybe this is simply a book that the author chose to be printed by more than one institution?
Thank you.
I considering whether or not to apply to it and would like to know.
PS. I do meet the entry requirements for my course if that helps in any way.
If yes, I have a few questions that would be great if someone could answer.
Thanks in advance!

Nota bene:
I graduated Virginia Tech with a dual degree in psychology and clinical neuroscience. My last 2 years of college I had a 3.67, and my psychology GPA overall was a 3.87. I unfortunately had some bad years in physics, and I graduated with a 2.94 cumulative. I have done research for about 2 years, I am cited as a junior author on a paper, and a junior author on a separate conference poster. I can code, in languages relevant to/taught in the program. I have experience working with an running participants through neuro imaging equipment. I have 6 months worth of clinical experience at a suicide hotline, and my current job is working as a calculus tutor to ADHD high schoolers. Iβm in the process of applying for a grant to fund tutoring for our low income students. I test in the GRE in the 96th percentile on verbal, and Iβm testing in the 75th on math, but Iβm working on raising my score. Do I have a chance? If not, what programs are more realistic? Oh and Iβm not sure if this is relevant, but I am a Puerto Rican woman.
