*** Disclaimer: first time doing custom loop, forgive my ignorance ***
Planning out a loop based on a Corsair 7000D case, based on ROG Z690 Extreme Glacial mobo, single GPU and a pair of 420 rads front and top.
Original plan was an AquaComputer pump/res combo, but was considering a 60mm rad up front if I could squeeze it in, and then got concerned about having a single pump if the 60mm rad has high resistance, and maybe the mobo block does as well given its size.
Saw a distro plate for the 7000D at https://www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/reservoirs/channelz-corsair-7000x-d-dual-d5-reservoir-ppcs-distro95.html.html which has dual pumps, but it's designed for dual loops which wasn't something I wanted.
Could I simply run those dual chambers in the distro plate in series to gain higher pump pressure? If so, am I taking any increased risks if one pump was to fail?
