Beaucoup se moquent de ce Youtuber chez les ricains, mais on en parle encore assez peu en France. Alors laissez moi vous présenter l'histoire assez tragique de Nikocado Avocado, qui continue encore aujourd'hui.
Ce Youtuber était à la base issu d'une communauté Vegan sur Facebook. C'est sur ce même réseau et ce même groupe qu'il avait trouvé son copain qui participe à pas mal de ses vidéos aujourd'hui. Sa chaîne, lorsqu'elle faisait encore partie de la masse invisible sur Youtube, traitait du véganisme et de nourriture saine de manière générale.
Jusqu'à un jour, où il poste une vidéo pour annoncer qu'il n'est plus vegan. Ses arguments principaux sont les suivants: il pense que la communauté est devenue hostile et instable, de mauvaise fois, se jugeant tous les uns sur les autres en s'attaquant de "tu n'es pas un vrai vegan", ou "tu n'es pas assez vegan". De cette vidéo commence la descente aux enfers.
Par la suite, il se met à produire des vidéos de Mukbangs. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas, le Mukbang est une pratique qui consiste à manger pendant plusieurs minutes des quantités de nourriture exagérées et clairement mauvaises pour l'organisme, tout cela devant une caméra en commentant. Au départ, cela reste "bon enfant", il n'y a rien de très extravagant, et ses vidéos étaient plus des vlogs que des défouloirs sur de la nourriture.
Mais progressivement, ça s'aggrave. Comme dans ce genre de vidéo où il ingurgite des quantités pharamineuses de nourriture de fast-food. Et cela ne fera que continuer au fur et à mesure des mois. Il est passé de 70kg (environ) à 152kg à l'heure d'aujourd'hui.
Des Youtubers qui vont dans l'extravagance à ce point, on en a déja vu. Pourquoi j'en parle ici ? Car celui-ci est très spécial.
On observe assez facilement qu'il souffre de problèmes mentaux, et peut-être même de TCA (Troubles du comportement alimentaire). Il accuse souvent sa communauté de l'avoir transformé ainsi, et il rejette la responsabilité de son poids sur ses médicaments ou le stress dont il est victime. Il a même une playlist sur sa chaîne Youtube où il y met ses vidéos de craquage: quand il pleure et qu'il a besoin de s'ouvrir. Son copain l'accuse régulièrement d'avoir ruiné leur relation, cela en vidéo. On pourrait penser que c'est de la comédie, mais en alliant tous ces points, on arrive à ressentir une réelle souffrance derrière l'écran.

But man…that meeting was pretty much everything I wanted from those two protagonists first encountering one another. Lloyd with all his characteristics on full display was great, and especially when juxtaposed against poor Rean.
(Blue Destination was such a perfect music track in this game.)
To see the state Rean was in after the Finale chapter made me feel even more for him as a character. I know a lot of people prefer the brighter and sunnier Estelle and Lloyd but I personally have melancholic temperament and LOVE what they’re doing with Rean-kun-nii-sama. He’s already threatening to take the favorite protagonist throne from Kevin halfway through the arc.*
Also appreciate that they put emphasis on how much of a superpowered mecha-summoning monster Rean is in this chapter.
It’s only been 4 short months since I finished Ao but it was really nostalgic seeing Crossbell again; to use that nostalgia as a hammer by throwing Rean at me playing Lloyd again was just sublime.
CSII has surprised me more than any game since 3rd with its high moments.
*Kevin’s still more badass but I honestly feel like Rean’s had a better arc written at this point.

First of all, “Divertissement”? Did the translators have a thing for 18th century French, or is the Japanese equivalent just as ancient and ridiculous :)
Anyway, let me just give a quick recap of what happens in this chapter. It comes right after the end of the finale of the main story, which involves Rean being made to look like a peasant in the large scheme of things, with some nasty personal revelations that shatter his world, and starts with Giliath Osborne and Rufus Albarea announcing the annexation of Crossbell (Thus the name of the chapter: The Occupation) in their typical “we-know-it-all-and-are-two-steps-ahead-of-you-bitches” style.
Then we come across some “new” characters (or characters from the Zero/Ao games if you’ve already played them at this point) who call Crossbell home and decide to fight against the annexation in ways only they can. Crossbell Times reporter Grace Lynn makes a cameo appearance, and we then follow Police Inspector Lloyd Bannings and Opera performer Rixia Mao through the Geofront as they try to salvage sensitive info about Crossbell from the Central Terminal room in the dungeon from falling into the empire’s hands. They are interrupted by Rean and Altina (on orders of Lechter), a battle ensues and Rean loses, but proceeds to cheat with unparalleled shamelessness (like a true antagonist) by calling Valimar, and then has the gall to announce that they’ll “split our losses”. Anyway, Lloyd and Rixia gtfo of there, having completed their main task, and Rean goes back to Trista.
But thematically speaking, what is this “Divertissement”, this diversion from the main story actually about? Is it about the other side of the annexation? Is it meant to highlight the perspectives of its victims, about what constitutes their identities as citizens of Crossbell?
Identity...that’s an important concept in the context of this chapter. Grace and Lloyd take the actions that they do because they identify themselves as independent people of Crossbell, willing to fight with both pen and sword (police batons to be exact) to preserve that identity.
But then again, Rean himself plays a cameo in Divertissement. He appears

So I just finished playing through Trails to Azure a few days ago, and to quickly recap where we left off with Lloyd before moving into CS3, I replayed the Divertissement in Cold Steel 2 which I had done way back in February when I first played through CS2.
First of all wow it's crazy to finally understand what the heck is going on. I re-read the post that I made upon finishing Cold Steel 2 back in February and in it I had mentioned how I was interested in learning more about "this Lloyd guy." Well, me, now you know everything there is to know about this Lloyd guy. And Rixia too, and everyone else Lloyd mentions during the Divertissement, when before it was just like he was rattling off a random list of names.
But what's also amazing is how awesome they look in the new engine. Like, they really did him justice in CS2, as he looks really fucking cool with his yellow turtleneck and jacket. How the hell does he pull that off?
Anyways, I'm interested in hearing from people that went into CS2 with all the knowledge from the Crossbell games already. What was your reaction when you saw 3D Lloyd and Rixia? What did you think of Lloyd essentially being on the run from the Erebonian government, and actively working against Rean? Were you expecting anything like the Divertissement at all?
That's all, just some quick questions for y'all before I start getting into Cold Steel 3. Excited to see what happens to Rean and Lloyd (and hopefully Estelle) going forward! :D

Avec ma chérie, on regarde du porno ensemble de temps en temps et, un jour, nous sommes tombés sur "Porn Story".
Ce n'était pas une simple vidéo porno. Non. C'était une parodie de Loft story mais version pornographique ! Plusieurs épisodes de 20 minutes, avec des gages, des embrouilles, et surtout du sexe. Tout ça avec des acteurs Français qui ne sont certainement pas engagés pour leurs talents de comédiens.
Bref, on a bien rigolé devant et on s'est aussi bien amusé entre 2 scènes !
