A list of puns related to "Dice Throw"
Say I throw 10 6-sided dice at once. How do I get the odds of getting any result that includes each side at least once.
I believe for 6 dice it would be (1/6)^6 but I don't know how the additional dice influence it.

Greetings Travelers!
We are a collection of new to veteran level gamers and TTRPG lovers. Currently we are running campaigns but don't want to exhaust our current collection of friends and thus are looking for four (4) mature, adult, dependable folks to join our little cluster of international comrades (nerds) and throw more dice! Expect an even mix of rp and combat with many laughs and not much taken seriously.
We have a GM (been rolling dice since the 70's) and a semi-experienced player who loves to help others. Your experience level does not matter, however, your reading comprehension does. Please do not apply if you do not believe you can be reliable for the schedule. We are a diverse group of ladies and gents ourselves so of course we welcome all couples and are LGBTQ+ friendly we are family friendly but are all working adults so expect NSFW humor and adult commentary at times.

His plan is to scout a sizeable area, rid this land of brigands and establish a new kingdom.

I want to do an in-person offline game. I am flexible as a player but less flexible to just about any game. if I must GM, as I am only comfortable GMing Savage Worlds as long as the setting is something I am somewhat familiar with. I am vaccinated but I would prefer a group that isn't that concerned about it. I have lived in Las Vegas for about 6 years, never been able to get a regular game together.
I am 30 years old, work as an executive at a mid-sized marketing firm. Recently married. Would prefer a bi-weekly or monthly game but I am open to a weekly if the game is flexible on attendance.
I prefer roleplaying over "roll-playing". I acted in a foreign film once, never got to really pursue this passion so TTRP is where I satiate that need. That sounds a lot more snobby than it is. I enjoy combat in TTRPGs, I just like the roleplaying a lot more. I like to get really into my characters and flesh out their backgrounds and personalities.
Settings are flexible as well but my preferences are modern and sci-fi, but if you guys are running a medieval or fantasy setting, I am still up for it.
Iβm trying to make renders that involves dices being thrown, showing a specific combination and in the right angle for the camera. Iβm using rigid bodies as of now, I just really like the simplicity and effect of it. But I just canβt crack the code, without it being that I have to rotate the dices a million times until Iβm lucky.
How would I go about this?
Even if you disable crossplay on Series S and X , the game is pretty much dead with lobbies not even full and long queue matches, and this is on the main modes , not talking about portal...
So Iβm having trouble with this mission that I havenβt really bothered with until now. I have to intimidate a merchant Autolykos by destroying his goods, but the issue is his good arenβt there. I am unable to overwrite until before I accepted the mission as it was ages ago. Any other way I can reset it by not ruining my 288 hours ?
When my PCs should do the secret (hidden) dice throw, usually, I am (Keeper) just make a throw by myself behind the Keeper Screen. But I want to give the opportunity to my players make a throw. Is there any dice towers for that or just any ideas?
I'm writing this post as I have found others like these useful.
Tomorrow I start the elemental diet for 2-3 weeks. I will be using Nutricia Elemental 028 Extra Liquid. This is my latest treatment plan by my private (expensive) doctor in London. I have bought a small supply of the liquid formula as my doctor is trying to get the rest prescribed on the NHS. Symptom dependent, after 2-3 I will slowly wean off and transition back to LowFodmap diet, assuming (yeah right) success.
Symptoms; Full-time bloating, often severe. Chronic constipation. Cramps. Frequent uncomfortable movement of the gut (like a dishwasher in there). Frequent and foul-smelling gas. Chronic fatigue. Brain fog. Weight loss.
Brief timeline; December 2018 - frequent and foul-smelling gas. February 2019 - Uncomfortable movement of gut March 2019 - Bloating and Constipation October 2019 - Fatigue and Brain fog. Since then, every symptom continues to worsen, unable to work or function in a normal life, physical activities become too much.
Treatment; I have seen 4 different naturopaths, Gastroenterologists, dieticians, doctors in UK, France and Spain, Chinese medicine doctor, Acupuncturist. I am currently working with a Gastroenterologist.
LowFodmap diet, Low Carb/Sugar diet, Candida diet, Biphasic diet. Every supplement you can imagine. Fluconazole, Metronidazole, Metronidazole + Rifaxamin, Rifaxamin + Neomycin.
I have had a GI Map, many blood tests, colonoscopy, endoscopy, various scans SIBO breath test.
I'm trying to keep this short, but basically, I've tried (or so it feels) everything! This is my last hope. This Elemental diet. Please give me relief and my life back!
I'll try and edit this post as I go along so others can see when they search for elemental diet. Happy to answer any questions.
Now let's talk about killing models.
So far the discussion has been focused on selecting a valid target. I've skipped some of the more nuanced tactics because I was focused on explaining the rules on step at a time. We're going to cover a bit of that with some new examples.
In this scenario, both models have Engage Orders. The Kroot is going to perform a Shoot action.

Let's go ahead and draw our imaginary lines. We have the Visibility Line in yellow, the Cover Lines in red, and the distance measured in blue.

The Cultist has an Engage Order, so we only have to ask two questions:
Verdict: The Cultist is a Valid Target.
Looking at our red Cover Lines, we also see that the Cultist's base is obstructed by the Light Terrain. The Cultist is also within 1" of the Light Terrain, so he has the benefit of being in Cover. Because he has an Engage Order, this Cover will not prevent him from being shot. It will, however, give him an advantage when it comes time to roll his defense dice.
Let's look at the Kroot's weapon:
The Kroot rolls four dice and attempts to roll a 4 or better.
And let's look at the Cultist's profile.
The Neophyte Hybrid rolls three dice and attempts to roll a 5 or better.
But wait!
Before we roll the dice, the Cultist gets to apply his Cover Save.
What is a Cover Save?
If the target is in Cover, before rolling their defense dice, the defender can retain one die as a successful Normal Save without rolling it.
The term "Cover Save" does not actually appear in the rulebook. This is a colloquialism that has popped up on message boards to refer to the Normal Save the model retains as a result of being in Cover.
So when we roll for defense, the Cultist will only roll two dice. I've marked the retained Normal Save with an 'N.
... keep reading on reddit β‘Looking for anyone interested in playing 9th ed 40k. Ive been playing 40k since 4th edition but haven't really had much of an opportunity to play in recent years. Had another buddy show me TTS and now im here looking for a game. Weekend evenings work best for me long as its set up in advance (maybe around 7 or 8 EST). Fair warning ive played 1 game of 9th and im still not 100%on the flow so it might take a game or two to get used to the new rules but im cool with getting mashed until i git gud, i also only possess a rudimentary understanding of TTS, enough to navigate it if not a bit slow. Just a heads up i play Tau, not really sure why we get hated on so much since we've rarely been a good army (maybe back when they added alliances and you could take an ultramarine librarian with your Farsight deathstar unit that just teleported a 9 man suit squad anywhere on the battle field without scatter. That was cheese but mostly its just people who think they can win games by castling which isn't typically good.) but id like to give the heads up just in case anyone feels some kind of way about fighting commie space fish. I look forward to meeting some fellow wargamers.
