Brand new s30v knife seems to have an extremely small chip or rolled edge. I don't want to reprofile a brand new expensive knife, so thinking of using for a while and fixing later. Any suggestions? Fine ceramic and strop didn't help. Maybe a couple passes on a fine diamond stone?

Do you need a strop or diamond compound to sharpen a knife?
I recently got a CJRB Crag. I want to make it sharper than the factory edge it came with. I've never sharpened a knife before, I'm not ready to learn freehand/whetstone sharpening, so I'm going to get a Work Sharp Precision Adjust Sharpener.

It was also suggested to me to use a Strop and some micron diamond compound in order to get a polished mirror edge. Im not sure which types of either I'd need for this knife. Is this strop a good one for it? Or would it be better to use something like this?
What kind of diamond compound should I get for this knife, or is there something better to use for it? I'm trying to get everything off Amazon if possible

I always hear that a diamond is one of the strongest materials, and because of that, it cannot be scratched by anything other than itself. But is this really true?
