A list of puns related to "Darragh"
The RPZ system is already bad, but without it without it landlords are free to increase rents to "market rates" (...which are dictated by rents.)

Our landlord's been fucking surgical with the 4% annual increase. Is there any way tenants can influence policy here?
On Monday I wrote to my TD. You should too. Go to whoismytd.com to find your's. Today I got another reply from FG TD for Kildare North, Bernard Durkan who contact Minister for Housing; Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O'Brien (FF) for a response to my query.
> To ask the Minister for Housing; Local Government and Heritage his plans to urgently tackle the purchase of properties in bulk by pension fund sponsored investors (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. (Details Supplied) ; that currently purchase such properties intending to ring fence same for the private sector thereby reducing the number of properties for sale on the open market for first-time buyers and making it even harder to purchase a family home in an already challenging market
> I have serious concerns of instances, recently reported, where investors are inappropriately purchasing entire completed houses estates, preventing their sale to families and first time buyers.
> Institutional Investors are regulated by the Department of Finance. The issue of sale and of purchase of land or housing are matters for the Minister for Justice. I am working with my Government colleagues to bring forward comprehensive proposals to address this issue as a matter of urgency.
> I would note that institutional investors occupy a relatively small share of the housing market which based on the last census in 2016 was more than 2 million houses and apartments. Industry estimates suggest that the total number of residential units under institutional ownership in Ireland was approximately 15,550 at the end of 2020, less than 1% of the total housing stock.
> Historically, the private rented sector in Ireland has been largely made up of small-scale landlords, who will continue to provide the bulk of private rented accommodation. Data provided by the Residential Tenancies Board in November 2020 reports that the majority (over 70%) of landlords registered a single rental tenancy.
> The presence of such institutional investors in the market helps to increase the supply of housing, particularly of urban apartments, through forward-funding of development. This is essential to reaching the National Planning Framework targets and to support more sustainable living generally. However the possibility of a trend of

Concerned Irish citizen and member of the public here. I'll begin with my extreme disappointment at your resolve to bring the shared equity scheme into effect, despite warnings of house price inflation from ESRI, numerous industry bodies, a senior civil servant in the department of public expenditure and the population of the UK. You can see what I mean here

However, my real concern is your failure to bring in another, important piece of legislation. Something you party promised at the last election and something I know is close to your heart...
To avoid confusion I am referring to this on page 57 of the Fianna Fail 2020 election manifesto. You probably have a copy lying around, in case you don't I have included a link.
Help First Time Buyers by reforming the planning system for Cuckoo Funds
The increased number of Cuckoo Funds snapping up whole housing estates and apartment blocks is creating an unprecedented level of competition for first time buyers. These are largely concentrated in Dublin and are effectively pushing first time buyers out of buying their own homes.
β’ We will introduce legislation to ensure that no single buyer can bulk purchase entire developments unless they are designated Build to Rent in the Housing strategy.
Clearly you fought hard for this to be included on the manifesto, as this was your battle cry in 2019

Ok, I'll admit that your belief that 30% being satisfactory for 1st time buyers is delusional, but I am wondering when you might be inclined to deliver on these commitments, particularly in light of numerous reports of foreign trusts bulk purchasing housing stock in recent days.
I also literally cannot wait to see you bring the same passion and fighting spirit for these promised reforms that you did with the shared equity scheme. If indeed you do then I am sure your colleagues in cabinet and the greedy foreign investment firms are in for a tough time.
Go get them Darragh, time to cash in this political chip!
Thanks for your attention
No power since 1, supposed to be out till 11 because renovating Salk hall is more important than the academic slaves who fund this college. I'm in 361 and the elevator has flooded from a burst pipe and even the workers are miserable. I have midterms soon and my shit is dying. Just complain here if you feel it. Especially if you're still in the building. That's all.
Update: power back on "likely" around 2 am. Panther Central to the rescue. Wheeee
Update: 4:15 am and still no power. Fuck me.
Update: 6:17 and heard my ac kick in and the sound of rattling pipes never made me almost cry as much as it did now. Hope this never happens again.
The ladies had Kelsey on the podcast today and it was SO good! Iβve always liked Kelsey but have kind of stopped short of being a big fan because she can be a lot. I havenβt enjoyed Guilty Pleasures so far. But she was so chill, open and insightful on the podcast!
She talked about several different things like sobriety, self-care and the social justice campaign and documentary sheβs working on (Justice 4 Saraya). They were so respectful and just let her talk freely. Big respect for Kelsey and loved the episode!
episode description: βIf there's one person who can speak on anxiety, depression, and panic with such humor, insight, and personal experience, it's Kelsey Darragh. We're so glad she joined us to discuss her mental health journey from therapy to misdiagnoses to meds to social situations to panic attacks. She shares what has worked for her, how to manage anxiety in a relationship (when you're the person with it or the partner trying to help), why and how she quit drinking, and more. And before Kelsey joins us, we're unpacking why guys turn down booty calls and/or friends with benefits situations. Enjoy!β
That first trip - a southern freight by chance -
no sleep, malaria, difficult watches.
Strangely deceptive, the lights of the Indies -
they say you don't see them at a first glance.
Beyond Adam's bridge, you took on freight
in south China - soya, sacks by the thousand,
and couldn't get out of your mind for a second
what they'd told you in Athens one wasted night
The tar gets under your nails, and burns;
the fish-oil stinks on your clothes for years,
and her words keep ringing still in your ears:
"Is it the ship or the compass that turns?"
You altered course when the weather turned,
but the sea bore a grudge and exacted its cost.
Tonight my two caged parrots were lost,
and the ape I'd had such trouble to train.
The ship! It wipes out all our chances.
The Kuro Siwo crushed us under its heel,
but you're still watching, over the wheel,
how, point by point, the compass dances.
I know its early but can we discuss that fact that he has won all six episodes on the bounce. I dont think any chaser has won six episodes in a row anyway darragh of course would be on 100% after winning his first six episodes but some were close as I thought the 20 step one would have been enough but he ended up catching them with 4 seconds left so is he the only chaser to win six episodes on the bounce or has another chaser done it and who do you think will have the best win percentage after he has done I don't know 150 or 200 episodes and how have you rated him so far???
