A list of puns related to "Cylinder Blown Sheet"
Should I go to a local mechanic or is this trustworthy?
I read from a book, that a blown cylinder head gasket would cause the car interior heater to not work. Is this really the case?
Also, is a cylinder head gasket the same as just head gasket?
I have a 2006 with a blown engine. It was a 4 cylinder is it possible and or easy to swap it for a 6 cylinder engine?
My overheated and blew a head gasket and apparently warped the cylinder head on my Camry. I gave the mechanic a $1000 deposit before he discovered all these issues and now he needs an additional $2800 to complete the job. $3600 total.
I just bought this car and I have to spend most of my savings on it. I was considering towing it to my mechanic in my hometown since it broke down about 160 miles away- but I wonβt get my deposit back and the carβs engine will be in pieces in the trunk.
Is it worth it to spend roughly $3800(taxes included) on a old car w 200k or should I just cut my losses and try and get a new one? Or tow it and try and get another mechanic to fix it for cheaper?
Hello, I need help/reasurance because I am super worried. After years of savings I finally purchased my first car on February first (dodge charger RT 2012) All seemed pretty great until i took it for an oil change and they told me i had a water pump leak. I immediately head to the dealership but the part is not available and needs 3 weeks to arrive (end of March). I was told I can use the car, except I have to check on my water levels everyday (which i did). The car would leak sometimes, then stop for a week, then again leak. Of course, I check my coolant temp regularly and it's never overheating (between 95 Β°c - 103). Until 2 days ago, my ac did not give cold air and i could smell the compressor gas coming out.my AC vent. Immediately I stopped the car and checked the hood, I could see a bigger leak than usual in my coolant (front center of engine aka the water pump) I immediately tow the car home and will not use it till the part is replaced. I was told it was the evaporator which caused AC not to work. But I was also told that this MIGHT have happened due to engine overheating? This is where my heart dropped. I cannot afford a blown cylinder head gasket. I'm worried I had a faulty thermostat all this time.. for context I live In Qatar and I'm waiting for the part to arrive. I don't see any white smoke coming out the evaporator or any smell indicating coolant burn. But I did see my coolant boiling a few times and I'd just top it off with more coolant after the car cools down.
I have rebuilt several engines just never that bad.
