A list of puns related to "Culhwch And Olwen"
As the title said, give Dire Thunder a hypothetical weapon refine that makes Olwen good without buffing Reinhardt much.
Why is Reinhard so much better than Olwen yet sheβs the 5* exclusive?
I know that many just run Bladetome on her, but I think she could use a Dire Thunder refine. To make it so Rein isnβt totally busted, Iβd do the following:
Base refine gets rid of Spd penalty. +10 Reinhardt would have 27 Spd at neutral, which is still horrible. Neutral Olwen at +0 has 34 speed however, and thatβs not negligible.
Special refine gives it the same passive as Giga Excalibur and Vassalβs Blade. Rein would get marginal gains at best, and a flat Atk refine with an Atk seal would be better. So he does get slightly buffed.
Olwen, however, could see up to +7 damage per hit. +14 damage against slow, bulky targets sounds great, especially with moonbow and QP seal. Merged Olwens, Spd boon Olwens, and horse emblem Olwens all get massively buffed in damage and may even consider running Chill Res if they donβt need Desperation.
I just feel really bad for her OG version. I have one at -Atk, and she might as well not exist without Blade.
Anyway, how would you improve her?
Blue Olwen is missing in the FEH Channel's list of units while green Olwen seems to be erroneously present; no other book 2 unit seems to be listed (including Olwen's banner contemporaries, Leif and WoT Reinhardt) and in the in-game notification for the removals, green Olwen isn't listed while blue Olwen is. Not a major tidbit, but I wanted to throw this out there
Gamepress doesn't have a rating on WT! Olwen yet, but I just recently pulled a +RES/-SPD version of her. I've been using a +1 Titania with her nature axe (Emerald),but trying to look for a replacement for her..
I was thinking of slapping a SPD seal on her and of course horse buffs can bring her SPD up +9 from a 32 pt bane. Her RES with boon is 30 so its pretty tanky on res, but she has a blade tome sooo a SPD bane is generally bad with these and I don't have an ATK boon.
Does my Titania stay on my horse emblem yet again or do you think this Olwen is plenty good on my team? Mind you this team is my back-up main so although its not my main I do care on how this team runs lol
So now that Olwen is a banner unit, I really want her since she is a good unit in Horse Emblem. I have Leo who is -HP/+Atk and is amazing, but I really want Olwen. Should I try pulling for her or just stick to Leo? My other team members are Camus, Titania, and Eliwood.
I'm going to be D&D 5e centric ATM, because that's what I'm into at the moment, but I'm not going into rules too much. Please add none D&D5 information and discussion as much as you want. If you disagree with anything I say, or have additional information, add away.

However Uther is disappointed to see this child born a girl and fell into despair knowing he could not make her heir to his throne. Holding onto whatever hope he could Uther began preparing for his heir, confident that he shall have a male child at a later date.
One among these preparations was to find a new court mage to replace Merlin. Though Uther knew Merlin to be a powerful mage, he also knew him to be untrustworthy, for even when he believed in his prophecy Uther knew Merlin to be aloof. Thus he began to search for one with great potential for magic. Much to Utherβs surprise it was a small boy in a small village whom showed him such potential.
Within Utherβs domain lived a child Menw whom displayed many feats of magic, creating voiceβs in the wind, causing object to fall from afar, and even creating illusions. Uther believing this child could one day become a mage as great as Merlin visited him. The kings first question was how the child came to know such sorcery only for the child to state it was not he whom performed the deeds but his friends.
Further explaining, Menw told the king that he was born with a unique ability most other humans lake, the ability to see fairies. Through this he interacted with the fairies, and often asked them to help in his mischief making. Though initially distraught at the thought of wasting his time on a prankster without magical power, Uther eventually concluded that surely one born with such a gift would have a gift for magic as well.
Deciding to give the boy a test, Uther taught him the
