A list of puns related to "Crevasses"
Do y'all have pulleys in your crevasse rescue kit? They add significant ease to hauling but one can get by without them. Thoughts?
My current kit is: progress capture, tibloc, prusik, 2 pulleys, slings and carabiners.
Or thatβs what I thought until I felt my leg spinning and breaking.

There's a bit of light you can put in your pocket and save for later
Yeah, it might just be a bit, but you never know when you might need it for later
I've been in dark tunnels and thought that light was impossible to find
But was mistaken, because I wasn't looking hard enough

Minecraft should add glaciers to snowy biomes, like massive ice-filled ravines. There should be powder snow covered cracks in them like crevasses.
How are crevasses created? Why they didn't get filled by snow?
Sorry if this question has already been asked but I looking to someday in the future climb mount Rainier, unfortunately I am currently about to turn 15 so I would have to do the feat with my dad. He does not want to do any crevasse crossings on horizontal ladders since they freak him out, I know the Disappointment Cleaver route has them, does the Emmons Glacier route have ladder crevasse crossings? And are there any prerequisites to get a permit to climb Rainier? I live on Long Island so there aren't many mountains I can easily access for training.
