A list of puns related to "Cramer"
Don't ask me why but I often watch Mad Money on CNBC. I also make note of where I got recommendations when I buy stocks, and I'm starting to realize how bad his recommendations often are and how dishonest he is about his bad calls. A few examples:
Last night, someone called into to ask about Aeva and he said he couldn't recommend it. Oh really? Actually, HE DID recommend it just several weeks ago. I know because I bought it soon afterwards and it tanked. I understand things change and he's entitled to change his mind but how about at least saying something like, "I know I recommended this one before, but I can't now because of inflation or whatever..."
XL Fleet. Same story as above. He recommended it, then he didn't and pretended like the earlier recommendation never happened.
Tech meltdown. In the runup to the 2020 election, Big Jim was pimping hard for Biden. Okay, fine, everyone's entitled to their opinion. But he kept repeatedly claiming that Biden would great for tech stocks, especially Apple, because he would improve relations with China. This call has been catastrophically wrong, at least so far but no acknowledgment of this whatsoever from him. As a so -called expert, shouldn't he have known that the policies Biden was calling for (huge increase in government spending, massive stimulus checks, enhanced unemployement checks, etc, etc) would cause inflation and inflation would be bad for many of these high multiple tech stocks?
Yeah, I know. I shouldn't be taking recommendations from Cramer and other so-called TV experts. That's on me...but I just wanted to add my thoughts here in case others take him seriously. And yes, I'm sure some of his recommendations also pan out well but I wish he would man up and admit when he makes bad calls.
Hey Navigators! It's Joey here!! Ask Me Anything!! Also, in case I don't get to all the questions today, I'll try to revisit and answer asap!! Thanks so much! this is RAD! joeycramer.com
Preamble: Jim Cramer is definitely a controversial figure. While argument can be made on whether he is on the side of retail investors or not, what I really wanted to know was how his stock picks are performing. Surprisingly, there were no trackers for the performance of Cramerβs pick in his program (his program is Mad Money, for those who are not familiar).
Where the data is from: here. All the 19,201 stock picks made by Cramer are listed here. His stock picks are updated here daily. While Cramer mentions a lot of stocks in his program, I only considered the stocks that Cramer specifically recommended that you should buy or sell. (I have ignored the stocks where Cramer says he likes/dislikes the stock since I felt that itβs a vague statement and cannot be considered as a buy/sell recommendation).
Analysis: There were 725 buy/sell recommendations made by Cramer in 2021. Out of this, 651 were Buy and 74 were Sell. For both sets, I calculated the stock price change across four periods.
a. One Day

I also checked what percentage of Cramerβs calls were right across different time periods.

Cramer made a total of 651 buy recommendations over the course of the past 4 months. If you had invested in every single stock, he recommended and then pulled out the next day, the returns were a staggering 555%. He was also right on 58.9% of the calls he made (Benchmark being 50% since anyone can pick a random stock and the probability of the stock going up is 50%). The weekly performance returns are also a respectable 42% but he was barely touching 50% in the percentage of right picks. One month from his recommendations, the stock return is an abysmal -223% and he was wrong more than he was right on his calls. The returns till date are also phenomenal with 446% return and Cramer being right a whopping 63.6% in his stock picks.

Cramerβs sell recommendations performed better than his buy recommendations across different time periods. This stat is particularly commendable since we were in a predominantly bull market across the last 4 months. 57.5% of the stocks he recommended a

He's laughing his ass off as his social media interaction scores are going through the roof cuz of your lame-ass insults. And then you double his pleasure by tuning into CNBC and posting links to it.
Odd's are the people bragging about giving him static are his own shills.

Edit 2: Holy! This blew up
Just dont engage with the fucker anymore. You wanna see him really go off the rails? Leave him completely unresponded to by us. Hes called us inexperienced, degenerates, losers. Its clear he is trolling for clickbait. He doesnt care that we dont like him. Its an act to get clicks. Hes hedging. Make calls on on his fame and respect expire worthless and make his puts on himself print. How? Dont tune in. Unfollow his Twitter. Respond to nothing the idiot says.
I promise youll see him unhinge like never before.
Ps hes now unloading on us again with the degenerates name drop. Just. Ignore. It. Dont feed him.
I donβt understand. Jim Cramer this and that? Like who gives a fk? He is just a noise at this point.
Arenβt you gonna hold when it dives anyway? And stop saying there is gonna a be huge bull trap whatever the fk! I also believe thatβs a psychological build up.
Stop mentioning about his tweets.
Just stfu and hold!
Not a financial advice.
Edit**** My posts and comments are being removed for lack of karma? Tf is this? I have enough karma to post and comment.
Edit2**** If you are going to argue his tweets are setting us up for a bull trap..? Give me an evidence and also who cares if he is mad or not? He is being fed upon negative comments. Negative attention is still an attention. Give him nothing.
Edit3****** Stay apathetic. You think Cramer is stupid? You think he doesnβt know that we are listening? Stop putting your emotions and joys first and just stay irrelevant, away from him. Why care? Stop mentioning him. I will delete my post as well once this is done.
Edit4********* We all know what ken and Cramer did. So punish them after the squeeze. Donβt be stupid.
Esit5************ Yeha I get it this post can be ironic itself then stop fking mentioning him. He knows you are mentioning him. Jesus Christ
Edit 6*************** Enough negativity. Let the votes decide then. I have no intention of hurting someone. But it is my goal to raise a question. And why canβt I ? I also have my rights to petition.

Edit: Some people are saying they like the gossip part, which is great, I think devils advocate is good in any strategic planning.
At the end of the day, majority of the people on the sub are here for quality information only. Coupled with their own research they analyze and take a course of action in their own plans. And, lately, this stream of quality information is being disrupted by emotionally charged posts.
Do I want to let my emotions take control and think about how corrupt the market is and vent? All the time, but this is strategically inefficient. Why? because you begin to lose rationality as emotion is added to the equation.
The deadliest weapon that retail possess: Time & Patience
Never forget that
That's it. He doesn't really have anything to do with GameStop. His opinion has zero influence on me and I'm sure many others. I don't care to see him crying on TV. The guy might deserve it, IDK and I don't care. So I petition to expel him from this subreddit.
Edit: I've been convinced that a blanket Cramer ban is not wise. However I still think we should tread carefully when it comes to posting things pertaining to him. Not for his sake, but for our own.
