A list of puns related to "Corica"
Now I know it's easy to blame a coach after a loss but I have had this thought for a while now, I don't believe Corica is fit to coach us, he is too predictable, bringing Woods on in the 87th minute is laughable, what is the young fella going to do in a few minutes? I thought he brought on ninko too late, yes he was injured but it's the grand final, and we where getting dominated, roll the dice, like Drago says, 'if he dies he dies' but that would of given us a better chance,
He is too predictable, if we are losing he puts a striker on between 85th and 87th minute,
The reason he failed the first time was he was reactive and not proactive, and it's the same again, he had a chance to show Australia how good a coach he is last night and he bottled it, we never had a chance last night and he did nothing to change it,
He inherited a fantastic team, if not the best team the league has ever seen and he sailed to two grand final wins but while that was happening he didn't improve the team at all and everyone else has caught up,
This one's mainly out there for the Sydney fans, but also happy for an outside perspective.
Why does Steve Corica get so much strong dislike from Sydney Fans? He's a club legend, he's had a great career as a player, youth coach, and now a coach for Sydney, taking out the past two championships and the premiership last year. He's been working to bring our own youth into the squad, and while he's played a similar style to Arnold, he's also brought in his own brand of attacking football. He's also needed to replace some key players like O'Neill, Brillante, Brosque, and Bobo (until this season) in the process of getting these victories.
It is literally at the point where fans complain when we win. Despite dominating Victory in almost every stat last game, and winning the game, Sydney fans (on the internet, at least) panned the performance because we should have won by more goals. Trust Sydney fans to feel so entitled to a win that they complain by not winning by enough goals.
Yes, we have had a few more draws than normal, but we are still tied for the fewest season losses and are sitting second on a highly competitive table to an ascendant Melbourne City. Yes, other teams have improved, but I would argue that has largely been in response to Sydney dominating for 5+ years. Can we seriously expect Sydney to just go and dominate every league game from here-on in a salary-capped league, and if they don't we have to replace the coach? Ridiculous.
People criticise Corica for riding on Arnie's coat-tails, but I literally don't see why this is a criticism. Arnold worked very hard to create a culture of success at Sydney FC. Why in the world would we want a new coach to come in and change that. More importantly, who would we hire to replace Corica, who knows the club and the players so well?
Any insight from fans, Sydney or otherwise, is appreciated. In particular, any insight that doesn't point to the majority of Sydney fans on the internet being entitled twats would be appreciated (though my hopes aren't high).
Sorry about the very specific question.
Corica South releases tee times 7 days in advance. They are always fully booked. I called the course and asked how to get a tee time and they said nobody got advanced access, all tee times get booked at midnight 7 days prior. So I waited up until midnight and as soon as I refreshed the page, all the tee times were already taken! This was within a couple seconds of midnight.
I'm curious if anyone can explain that?

βIβm ecstatic and honoured to be the new Head Coach of Sydney FC, itβs a great club that is extremely close to my heart and one I am very passionate about,β he said.
βIβve been here since day one, as a player, a captain, a youth team coach and an A-League assistant coach and now itβs the right time to step up. Itβs a huge privilege.
βWeβve a very talented group of players and staff and with the majority of the squad from the last two years staying together, we want to grow the club and I expect to be challenging again for the top trophies.
βI have always had a great relationship with

For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π

Dad jokes are supposed to be jokes you can tell a kid and they will understand it and find it funny.
This sub is mostly just NSFW puns now.
If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
Edit* I'm not replying any longer and turning off notifications but to all those that say "no one cares", there sure are a lot of you arguing about it. Maybe I'm wrong but you people don't need to be rude about it. If you really don't care, don't comment.
