A list of puns related to "Community Areas Of Chicago"
I'm going to be visiting LA tentatively from 1/2-1/9 or later and I'm thinking of moving there. I currently live in Chicago and my fiance and I just broke up, I'm not from here so I have no ties to stay here and would love to go somewhere warmer and on the beach rather than having 3-4 months a year at least where I do not want to leave my house at all.
My job is 100% remote and I don't own a car and I'm hoping to not have to own a car. I have an electric bike and that works really well for Chicago except for when it's freezing outside for pretty much everything I need to do, I don't know if LA has good infrastructure for biking but if not, I would be fine with Uber/Public transportation, I have heard that public transportation is not very good in LA but even if it were somewhat decent I would be fine with taking it. My rent budget is $2-3k a month, I would prefer not to go all the way up to $3k but can if I need to.
I love the beaches and the laid back attitude that most beach areas have so I was thinking of Santa Monica/Venice Beach but what are the other areas to consider for both an Airbnb for the vacation and also for long-term living in case I decide to move there?
Somewhat relevant to this is that other cities I'm considering are San Diego, San Fran, Honolulu, Miami, Tampa, NYC or staying in Chicago, if anybody from LA has any experience living in those cities and how they compare to LA, happy to hear those as well.

Donating masks to hospitals for example.
I donβt play golf, but I donβt begrudge anybody else their hobby. However, I do take major issue with taking up 200 acres of public lands smack in the middle of dense residential neighborhoods with no other green space. If your hobby takes up more land than my entire neighborhood, maybe itβs not compatible with urban/dense suburban environments.
EDIT: Iβm a bit disappointed that a post that attracted 1000+ upvotes didnβt generate much interesting discussion about alternative land use in our cities. Thanks to those who tried to see my point instead of frothing at the mouth shouting βGolf good, OP stupidβ. Glad this was unpopular enough for yβall.
