When I was a kid, almost everytime I asked my dad to buy me something he would reply with the same lame joke. You see, in spanish, when you ask: "me lo compras?" (will you buy it for me) it also means (will you buy it from me). So he would reply "Claro! Por cuanto me lo vendes?" (Sure! How much are you selling it for?)
