Hello I recently was able to track my ancestors back to this area of norway. I live in the united States and would love to find some resources to learn about the history of the area and buskerud in general. Thanks for the info.
I'm an ex-pat desperate to create a local snack food from my hometown (boiled peanuts). Usually these are created with raw green peanuts, but can also be created from dried peanuts. Unfortunately, roasted peanuts won't work, and these are the only kind I can find. There's a lot of farming around here, so I'm hopeful, but I don't think this is really a peanut growing climate. Does anyone possibly know where I can buy raw/dried peanuts? Thank you! :)

Var på en bruktrunde i Oslo i ferien. Søkte bare bruktbutikk på google maps og tok runden. Herrejesus, så sykt mye dritt og dårlig drifta butikker. Mye rot og kaos, noen på det punktet hvor du ikke kan gå inn i butikken engang.
Ønsker også helst et bredere utvalg enn kun klær og keramikk/glass. Duppedingser andre kanskje ikke ser verdien i. Auksjoner fungerer dårlig for meg, da jeg jobber mye, så må være utsalg på stedet.
