A list of puns related to "Bollywood Hungama"
On Wednesday, Salman Khan's legal team-who have been a little disused in recent months-sprung into action and sent off a response to two prominent women's organizations for their notices to the superstar for his remark comparing his wrestling scenes in Sultan to the act of rape.
Salman Khan's response was unapologetic. "Salman will not apologise for the rape remark. He never says sorry. So why is he expected to now? In the past, he has been in many sticky situations. Not a murmur of an apology when he poured a beverage on Somy Ali, his then-girlfriend and no, it wasn't in her glass. Not a hint of an apology when he banged on Aishwarya Rai's door until his hand was a bloodied pulp and neighbours' eardrums were a shattered mess. Not a tremor of a sorry when pavement dwellers came under the wheels of his posh car. Or when the superstar peed in front of Subhash Ghai."
Says an associate who has known Salman Khan very closely, "Salman never says sorry, never regrets what he does. Because he believes he is responsible enough for his actions. I remember the closest he came to apologizing was to his closest friend Sooraj Barjatya after the black buck incident during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain. Sooraj is a pure vegetarian and a puritan at heart. This scandal killed something vital in Sooraj's relationship with Salman. It took 10 years for the wound to heal. But, Salman didn't say sorry then. I don't think he'll say sorry for this matter. He genuinely doesn't feel he needs to apologize. He didn't mean to offend anyone."
The friend also adds that Salman Khan's father writer Salim Khan has requested his son to say sorry and end the matter. "But, Salman convinced his father it would be wrong to apologize when he didn't mean to offend anyone. An apology would be an acknowledgement of the fact that he actually insulted women by using the rape analogy when he did not mean any harm. Salman may have had issues with his girlfriends in the past but he is extremely courteous with women both off and on screen. On screen, he refuses to kiss his heroines arguing it is against our culture," says the friend.
As things stand, no apology is forthcoming from Salman Khan on this issue. And the women's organizations would just have to deal with it.
Speaking to an entertainment portal, Honey Singh said that it was a terrible phase for him and a lot was going on with his mental well-being. He said that he would not sleep and the disease kept growing in him. He also became an alcoholic during that phase.
Singh also revealed that actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone helped him in coping with his situation. He said that Deepika had shared the number of a doctor with his family in Delhi. Singh had worked with both the actors for the ‘Lungi’Dance' song in Rohit Shetty's film Chennai Express. Deepika Padukone herself was diagnosed with depression and has been vocal about her diagnosis and treatment.
Singh also said that it took him 3-4 months to accept the state of his mental health. He also said that his family and friends extended support to him during that phase and took care of him. Several people from the industry also supported him.
In interviews earlier this year, the actress had informed that eventually Hollywood would be her next destination soon but we have come to know that the actress is already in the posh locale of Beverly Hills at Los Angeles scouting for an international celebrity manager. Alia is entering Hollywood at a relatively younger age than Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Recently, Huma Qureshi too made a Hollywood foray with Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead.
A trade source says, “Alia’s entry into Hollywood seems sooner than later. It’s all very hush-hush at the moment, though she has been spotted at Beverly Hill restaurants in Los Angeles on social media posts. While it seems that the actress is holidaying in LA with her best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor, apparently, Alia is there in search of an international celebrity agent. . From Aishwarya, Bipasha, Priyanka and Deepika Padukone – all have had celebrity managers or agents in Hollywood, who are based in Los Angeles, as one needs people there to keep the stars updated on international castings and auditions. Alia is also an accomplished singer like Priyanka so that is an added bonus if she is required to cut a single or an album.”
According to the source, “It will be a couple of weeks before SLB’s Gangubai Kathiawadi goes on floor and as Alia had time on her hand, she flew down with Vivek Kamath of Matrix, to look for an international agent in Hollywood. Matrix handles Alia’s work in India and is one of India’s leading celebrity management firms and apparently, Vivek is in LA negotiating with the agents on Alia’s behalf.”
The source adds that like Priyanka and Deepika, Alia too will find a balance between Hollywood and Bollywood movies. “Alia is very young and it is the right age to explore the international movie scene now. Indian actors are getting a variety of roles today. She is also extremely talented who has an exciting bouquet of Indian films so she is sure to flourish in both the film industries

What do you guys think of this, it looks pretty retarded if you ask me ?
I am pretty sure both of them don't need to go through this charade.
I wonder how they are going to show a break up later.
Says a trade source, “The production house is celebrating fifty glorious years ever since its launch in 1970 and buzz is that many top stars have been headlined for various new projects. However, there has been no official announcement on these projects yet. YRF has always been tight-lipped about its new movies and don’t announce till everything has been signed on the dotted line. A new project that is under discussion is apparently an action drama with Tiger Shroff and Ranbir Kapoor – two of the most talented actors of this generation. Apparently, Adi is very happy with Tiger’s success in War and is keen to do another movie with him. Tiger’s dance and action skills is fantastic and he has been at par in each and every scene with Hrithik (also known for his excellence dance moves and action skills) in the movie. He is already working with Ranbir in Shamshera and is impressed with the star’s dedication to his craft. While it is not finalised whether there will be two different movies with the two stars leading them or one project with both, one would expect any movie with the two stars as a project watching out for!”
The source adds, “It’s an interesting co-incidence that the 50th golden jubilee year of YRF also is the 25th year of Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ), which marked his directorial debut. It remains to be seen whether the director himself will announce his next project in 2020 as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of the esteemed production house.”

Where does Varun Dhawan go from here?
Varun’s line up looks promising more towards the commercial “masala” cinema, which is the audience he has catered to till date, with films like Street Dancer, Coolie No. 1 up for release next year and Sriram Raghavan’s Arun Kheterpal biopic and Shashank Khaitan’s commercial entertainer co-starring Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekarslated to hit the big screen in the year to follow. We hope, Varun signs on for subjects he absolutely believes in, and does films that Hindi cinema is known for as ever since his debut he has been touted as a true blue Hindi film star. Octobers and Sui Dhaagas can always be taken up by some “actors”, who don’t come with the pressure of delivering at the BO, as it’s not something meant for a “star”. May be a film in two years shouldn’t be an issue, but the focus needs to be on the big films.
The lack of big grossers, bumper openers and downhill in the last two years of decade coupled with upward swing of his contemporaries makes us put Varun Dhawan as star no. 10 on the list of “Bollywood Hungama Decade Power”
Tiger 9

2016: Rs. 114.95 crore (2 Films)
2017: Rs. 32.89 (1 Film)
2018: Rs. 164.38 crore (1 Film)
2019: Rs. 386.02 crore (2 Films)
Where does Tiger go from here?
Well, as stated above, Tiger should keep on capitalizing on his strength as that would enable him in escalating the trust among the masses with every passing film and attain a status that any star would merely dream of. No one from his generation has catered to the masses to the extent that Tiger has, and this is the biggest plus for him. Experimentation in the form of genre would be advised once in a blue moon to avoid repetition, however, variation in action, action, and action blended well with dance, dance, and dance is the way forward.
However, he needs to make sure that he doesn’t overexpose himself in the genre, plans his releases in a manner that the audience gets a breathing space. 3 action films in two years is the ideal route that Tiger should take with each one getting a gap of approximately 8 months, as that would crea
