Question: I am an expat from US in Zambia. The kwatcha has lost approximately 30% of its value since Jan 2019. Is it possible to take my entire paycheck (in Zambian bank account) and purchase DAI, then sell DAI to obtain USD in a US bank account?
Basically if I am paid in Kwatcha and I want to get rid of it as soon as possible. I figure if I could somehow immediately change kwatch to DAI then to USD (no hard currency USD is available in Zambia) I could have a more stable currency and just use a US debit card in Zambia.
Also, is there a simple app I can download to buy and hold DAI?
Also, why isnβt DAI used in Zimbabwe? I have been living in Zimbabwe for some time as well and their currency (rgts) has decreased in value by over 50% in the past 6 weeks. Everyone in Zimbabwe wants USD but there arenβt any here. Seems like DAI would be a simple solution to ward off hyperinflation in Zimbabwe.
I know I asked a lot of questions. I am new to DAI and see lots of applications for it. Thanks for any help you can offer.
