A list of puns related to "Bahá'u'llah"
When Bahá'u'lláh revealed in Arabic, what kind of accent did He speak with? There are so many different Arabic dialects, not to mention how Persians have their own pronunciation of Arabic words. Anyone have any idea on this?
Is there anything that may suggest that Baha’u’llah or Abdul Baha may have been mentally ill and delusional? Anything odd they are reported to have done during there lifetime?
What is becoming clear is that some marginalized and disaffected Baha'is do not appreciate the Covenant of Baha'u'llah and its implications. Most faithful Baha'is are clearly avoiding this subreddit. The points below are well-known to most Baha'is and supported extensively at:
>**Beyond contention, moreover, is the condition in which a person is so immovably attached to one erroneous viewpoint that his insistence upon it amounts to an effort to change the essential character of the Faith. This kind of behaviour, if permitted to continue unchecked, could produce disruption in the Bahá’í community, giving birth to countless sects as it has done in previous Dispensations. The Covenant of Bahá’u'lláh prevents this. The Faith defines elements of a code of conduct, and it is ultimately the responsibi

Shoghi Effendi and 'Abdu'l-Baha repeatedly explained this in their Interpretations of the Writings. (See World Order of Baha'u'llah in its entirety). They cited to specific passages on this point supportive of these conclusions. See https://covenantstudy.org/questions/questions/authority-of-universal-house-of-justice/index.html
>The institution of the Universal House of Justice was ordained by Bahá’u’lláh in His Most Holy Book, the Kitáb-i-Aqdas. Its responsibilities were also expanded upon in a number of His other Writings. ‘Abdu’l-Bahá confirmed the authority of the Universal House of Justice in His Will and Testament and provided specific details regarding its establishment and functioning. https://universalhouseofjustice.bahai.org/origins

>The Most Holy Book is the Book to which all peoples shall refer, and in it the Laws of God have been revealed. Laws not mentioned in the Book should be referred to the decision of the Universal House of Justice. There will be no grounds for difference… Beware, beware lest anyone create a rift or stir up sedition. Should there be differences of opinion, the Supreme House of Justice would immediately resolve the problems. Whatever will be its decision, by majority vote, shall be the real truth, inasmuch as that House is under the protection, unerring guidance and care of the one true Lord. He shall guard it from error and will protect it under the wing of His sanctity and infallibility. He who opposes it is cast out and will eventually be of the defeated.

>The Supreme House of Justice should be elected according to the system followed in the election of the parliaments of Europe. And when the countries would be guided, the Houses of Justice of the various countries would elect the Supreme House of Justice.

>At whatever time all the beloved of God in each country appoint their delegates, and these in turn elect their representatives, and these representatives elect a body, that body shall be regarded as the Supreme House of Justice. >The exalted character of the teachings of Bahá'u'lláh propounded during that period is perhaps best illustrated by the following statement made by Him in those days to an official who had reported to Him that, because of the devotion to His person which an evildoer had professed, he had hesitated to inflict upon that criminal the punishment he deserved: "Tell him, no one in this world can claim any relationship to Me except those who, in all their deeds and in their conduct, follow My example, in such wise that all the peoples of the earth would be powerless to prevent them from doing and saying that which is meet and seemly." "This brother of Mine," He further declared to that official, "this Mírzá Músá, who is from the same mother and father as Myself, and who from his earliest childhood has kept Me company, should he perpetrate an act contrary to the interests of either the state or religion, and his guilt be established in your sight, I would be pleased and appreciate your action were you to bind his hands and cast him into the river to drown, and refuse to consider the intercession of any one on his behalf."

Does anyone know who the person was or what the person was convicted of? Also, the book seems to imply that this was sent after Baha'u'llah came back from Sulaymáníyyih, which was before Baha'u'llah publicly declared that he was a manifestation of God. If Baha'u'llah was not a prophet at this point, then why are they contacting Baha'u'llah because of this other person's crime?

>"We noticed that he [Haji Mirza Karim Khan] had enumerated some twenty or more sciences, the knowledge of which he considered to be essential for the comprehension of the mystery of the "Mi'raj". We gathered from his statements that unless a man be deeply versed in them all, he can never attain to a proper understanding of this transcendent and exalted theme. Among the specified sciences were the science of metaphysical abstractions, of alchemy, and natural magic. Such vain and discarded learnings, this man hath regarded as the pre-requisites of the understanding of the sacred and abiding mysteries of divine Knowledge...
>"Not one understanding heart or mind, not one among the wise and learned, hath taken notice of these preposterous statements. And yet, how clear and evident it is to every discerning heart that this so-called learning is and hath ever been, rejected by Him Who is the one true God. How can the knowledge of these sciences, which are so contemptible in the eyes of the truly learned, be regarded as essential to the apprehension of the mysteries of the "Mi'raj," whilst the Lord of the "Mi'raj" Himself was never burdened with a single letter of these limited and obscure learnings, and never defiled His radiant heart with any of these fanciful illusions?...
>"In this day, they that are submerged beneath the ocean of ancient Knowledge, and dwell within the ark of divine wisdom, forbid the people such idle pursuits. Their shining breasts are, praise be to God, sanctified from every trace of such learning, and are exalted above such grievous veils...

It should be carefully borne in mind that the local as well as the international Houses of Justice have been expressly enjoined by the Kitáb-i-Aqdas; that the institution of the National Spiritual Assembly, as an intermediary body, and referred to in the Master’s Will as the “Secondary House of Justice,” has the express sanction of ‘Abdu’l‑Bahá; and that the method to be pursued for the election of the International and National Houses of Justice has been set forth by Him in His Will, as well as in a number of His Tablets.
Why is "international Houses of Justice" plural? There must something I'm not understanding. thanks
>We have enjoined upon all mankind to establish the Most Great Peace—the surest of all means for the protection of humanity. The sovereigns of the world should, with one accord, hold fast thereunto, for this is the supreme instrument that can ensure the security and welfare of all peoples and nations. They, verily, are the manifestations of the power of God and the daysprings of His authority. We beseech the Almighty that He may graciously assist them in that which is conducive to the well-being of their subjects. A full explanation regarding this matter hath been previously set forth by the Pen of Glory; well is it with them that act accordingly.

Where can I find this "full explanation" that Baha'u'llah refers to in the above quote?

>"Protect yourselves with utmost vigilance, lest you be entrapped in the snare of deception and fraud." This is the advice of the Pen of Destiny. "Therefore, to avoid these people will be the nearest path by which to attain the divine good pleasure; because their breath is infectious, like unto poison."
>
>"Endeavor to your utmost to protect yourselves, because Satan appears in different robes and appeals to everyone according to each person's own way, until he becomes like unto him -- then he will leave him alone."
>
>"...If you detect in any man the least perceptible breath of violation, shun him and keep away from him." Then He says: "Verily, they are manifestations of Satan." (Bahá'í World Faith, p. 431)
From 'Abdu'l-Baha confirming this:
>Bahá'u'lláh, in all the Tablets and Epistles, forbade the true and firm friends from associating and meeting the violators of the Covenant of His Holiness, the Báb, saying that no one should go near them because their breath is like the poison of the snake that kills instantly. (Bahá'í World Faith, p. 430)
>
>And now, one of the greatest and most fundamental principles of the Cause of God is to shun and avoid entirely the Covenant-breakers, for they will utterly destroy the Cause of God, exterminate His Law and render of no account all efforts exerted in the past. (Bahá'í World Faith, p. 448)
>
>My object is to show that the Hands of the Cause of God must be ever watchful and so soon as they find anyone beginning to oppose and protest against the guardian of the Cause of God, cast him out from the congregation of the people of Bahá and in no wise accept any excuse from him. How often hath grievous error been disguised in the garb of truth, that it might sow the seeds of doubt in the hearts of men! (Will and Testament of Abdu'l-Bahá, p. 12)

And when you hast comprehended [discovered] the [philosophers'] "Stone" (al-hajar) and partaken of its "substance" in accordance with the extent of thy material needs, then detach it from the "fire" (al-nūr). And if thou desire to practice [alchemy] according to the wondrous way (tarīq-i badī`) and the new Path (sabīl-i jadīd) and journey on your way, then gather up the essences (anfas) [breaths, spirits] of the minerals (ma`daniyāt) as well as their souls (arwāḥ) and bodies (ajsād) according to the natural balance (bi-mizān-i tabī`) which hath been concealed from the eyes and minds of [God's] servants. [3] This until each constituent manifest a color in accordance with the exigencies of the universe (bi-iqtiḍā-yi `ālam ) and its own natural constituency (ṭabī`at-i khūd). [4] That is to say, that which is characterized by whiteness (muqtadī-yi bayḍā) is whitened and each constituent capable of redness (qābil-i ḥamrat) becomes crimson and red. [5] Then blend these [constituents] together [but know that neither] a complete union of essence (mizāj-i kullī-yi wāqi`ī) nor a complete union of form (mizāj-i kullī-yi ūrat) will not result unless you transform the whole, water [liquid constituency] (āb) [as something] flowing torrentially.

Take [then] its "Water" (mā')! [3] It, verily, is the "male" [principle] (al-zakar) and its spouse is its "sister" which has been named "sulphur" (kibrīt). [4] When days have elapsed the "water" [liquid] (al-mā') will conjoin [with?] its "Spirit" (nafs?) and a child (genesis,`birth' al-mawlud) will be made manifest. Beyond violating the exhortation of Baha'u'llah forbidding "conflict and contention" and by not showing friendliness and love for all of humanity, Baha'u'llah explicitly and repeatedly forbade all attempts to divide the religion and required that individuals must show respect and obedience to the Aghsan ('Abdu'l-Baha and then Shoghi Effendi) and the elected and appointed institutions of the Faith.
Therefore, rejecting the authority and decisions of the even the local House of Justice under u/Trident765 's theory would lead to violating the laws of Baha'u'llah and the Covenant. Does Baha'u'llah say anything about Noah's Ark account?
A core belief of the Jewish tribe was not just that there was a flood which covered the entire Earth. But that all living humans today come from the survivors who road it out on Noah's Ark.
By Biblical standards Noah's Ark is; historical, real, truthful and factual. Meaning everyone is descended from Noah and of the Jewish tribes. So, if the biblical world flood in not truth. (According to all science's and of geology and DNA.)
Doesn't this pull the rug out from all three Abrahamic faith traditions, as a basis of authority and validity?
