Looking for an auto body shop to cleacoat non-automobile stuff
Right, so this is a bit of a unique question.
In my spare time, I dress up as characters from Star Wars to help charity. Specifically I am a Praetorian Guard (From The Last Jedi) with the 501st Legion costuming group.
Part of the look of the armour is a super-high gloss, and the best way to achieve that is with automotive clear coat. Now I'm in the middle of a repaint and repair of the entire kit and before trying to achieve the same result by myself I wanted to see if I can get a local auto body shop to help me throw down some clear coat after the repaint.
Does anyone have any recommendations for any shops that might at least consider doing this job, ideally without costing me an arm and a leg? Thanks!
