A list of puns related to "Arsenic Acid"
I eat brown rice every day but when I was researching how to mitigate the antinutrients in beans and lentils, I discovered the antinutrient phytic acid is high in brown rice also. While researching that, I discovered the concern about high arsenic levels in rice, especially brown rice. After reading about all that, I searched for a way to cook brown rice to decrease both concerns and I think I've found it.
From an article on the website Health, you soak the rice overnight, boil it in 5 parts water to 1 part rice, and then rinse it again in hot water before serving. This reduced the arsenic content down to 18% of original amount.
From a blog, you can reduce the phytic acid content by 98% in the future, if you drain the rice the first time, keep 10% of the drained rice water and put that water in the refrigerator. The next time you soak some rice, add the drained water you kept in the refrigerator to the rice that's soaking. When you drain that batch of water, keep 10% of the water again and refrigerate it. Keep doing that and by the 3rd batch, you'll be removing 98% of the phytic acid from your rice. The refrigerated water contains high amounts of phytase as well as microorganisms that secrete phytase, which is necessary to break down the phytic acid in the rice.
I'm also going to keep basmati rice from California, Pakistan, or India on hand in case I don't have time to do all that. White rice has less phytic acid because the bran is removed and basmati rice from California, Pakistan, and India was found to have low levels of arsenic.
Just wanted to share my findings!
Apparently As(NO3)3 isn't the product instead it's a redox reaction. I need this answer for an extra credit packet that I have to turn in late because I couldn't finish before my break and I haven't been able to find anything on Google about this. Anyone who can help
Howdy All! This one is a bit longer than has been standard lately. Like I said last time I had some material left over to get through, and I just couldn't find a stopping point that I was happy with. Even now I stopped it earlier than intended because it got, well, long.
We will be seeing through Ruufarrl's eyes quite a bit in the coming chapters, as well as a few... guest perceptions.
If you are new to the series, please start Here with "A Human Earns His Bloodclaws." It is a three part prologue showing the inciting incident from three perspectives.
The start of the regular Bloodclaw Chronicles series can be found here in Part One.
Previous chapter can be found Here.
Everything else can be found with Wafflebot below.
Intro over! As always, I hope you enjoy, and I am always open to criticism and ideas.

The trip down to the surface of the planet did not start as a gentle one. Sadly, for all the technological advances of all the known races, none had been able to develop a vessel capable of planetary landings that could make the entry into atmosphere a smooth one. Nor did it afford them with a view to compensate as only luxury vessels had windows for passengers.
Neither of these things bothered him too much, but a view would have been nice. This was a new planet for him after all, and one could learn much from simply observing a colonized planet.
From what Conrad had told him and what he had seen from the station, much of this planet was still wilds. There were three major continents, and all were colonized to an extent, though only one had a well-developed capital city. This primary continent, the one where the governing body of the planet was housed and where Conrad lived, was named Esperando Tierra by the original colonists. It was a grand continent with sprawling fields and forests, a large northern mountain range, a landlocked freshwater sea and diverse biomes. The Capital City of Cormorant was well situated to take advantage of many features the continent offered. It sat on the eastern coast, on the banks of

I was enthusiastic about the studies read on pubmed about the mitochondrial restorative abilities, antidepressant activity (maoi), neuropathic pain, nootropic activity, arthritic pain of methylene blue. in these studies they talk about excellent results, zero side effects, even at a high dosage (100mg per day). I have a scale that weighs up to the third decimal place (1mg minimum) I am taking it for a couple of days at 1mg, but I am not experiencing any positive effects, on the contrary ... increase of lethargy and reduction of strength and energy and strong difficulties digestive, with burps, acid regurgitation, headache even if i drink water. at this point I think that being a powerful antibacterial, methylene blue destroyed my intestinal bacterial flora, also because after I stopped it and started taking lactic ferments, my stomach was regularized. do you also encounter these problems? do i have to reduce the dose again? but how do you measure micrograms? how do you say it is a panacea even at 100mg a day if it kills all your intestinal flora? since it stains every surface it comes into contact with and does not go away even with bleach or ammonia, is it logical to think that even inside our stomach or body there are stains? are they harmless? Maybe this low energy and lethargy is caused also by its maoi effect, so by the serotonin increase ?
Iβm trying to find easiest way to get element samples, and this is what I got so far. If hope that you cold help me finish this list, by writing your ideas how get other elements.

English scientist John Cooke observed: βThe fumes from these metals, or the receptance of them in solution into the stomach, often causes paralysis.β
1890: Lead arsenate pesticide started to be sprayed in the US up to 12 times every summer to kill codling moth on apple crops.
1892: Polio outbreaks began to occur in Vermont, an apple growing region. In his report the Government Inspector Dr. Charles Caverly noted that parents reported that some children fell ill after eating fruit. He stated that βinfantile paralysis usually occurred in families with more than one child, and as no efforts were made at isolation it was very certain it was non-contagiousβ (with only one child in the family having been struck).
1907: Calcium arsenate comes into use primarily on cotton crops.
1908: In a Massachusetts town with three cotton mills and apple orchards, 69 children suddenly fell ill with infantile paralysis.
1909: The UK bans apple imports from the States because of heavy lead arsenate residues.
1921: Franklin D. Roosevelt develops polio after swimming in Bay of Fundy, New Brunswick. Toxicity of water may have been due to pollution run-off.
1943: DDT is introduced, a neurotoxic pesticide. Over the next several years it comes into widespread use in American households. For example, wall paper impregnated with DDT was placed in childrenβs bedrooms.
1943: A polio epidemic in the UK town of Broadstairs, Kent is linked to a local dairy where cows were washed down with DDT.
1944: Albert Sabin reports that a major cause of sickness and death of American troops based in the Philippines was poliomyelitis. US military camps there were sprayed daily with DDT to kill mosquitoes. Neighboring Philippine settlements were not affected.
1944: NIH reports that DDT damages the same anterior horn cells that are damaged in infantile paralysis.
1946: Gebhaedt shows polio seasonality correlates with fruit harvest.
1949: Endocrinologist Dr Morton Biskind, a practitioner and medical researcher, found that DDT causes βlesions in the spinal cord similar to human polio.β
1950: US Public Health Industrial Hygiene Medical Director, J.G. Townsend, notes the similarity between parathion poisoning and polio and believes that some polio might be caused by eating fruits or vegetables with parathion residues.

For it to make sense to me, the company must provide me with a large near-term upside and continued long-term growth. I am not a financial advisor, and this is not financial advice, I am a mom and a professional firefighter, do your own DD. I believe that high quality research builds conviction. I write DDs on all of my long holds my average gain on my picks this year is 100%. I currently own shares of BacTech which I plan on keeping for at least the next two years. I will, as always, try to reduce the cost of my shares over time. This means that I will take advantage of both increases and decreases in the share price and will trade accordingly.
Major Catalyst: BacTech just released its third-party bankable feasibility study which shows that their upcoming project in Tenguel, Ecuador will have a cost of 15.5m USD and provide a 48% rate of return ($46.9m net present value). This gives pretax earnings of 8.94m USD on what is only a 12.6m USD company. These figures also assume gold to be $1600 ounce when the real price is almost $1800.

Hello, smellfriends! Long time no see! Itβs been, what, nearly a year since my first post? Howβs your family? Did you hear about little Charley getting into Yale? Are you eating enough? Relax your shoulders.
So I donβt need to tell anyone about the past year - you were all there, you know. Lurking and commenting is much easier on the mental health than starting a dialogue in a post. That said, I decided itβs time to get back into the swing of things with posting part 2 after such a long time. More scents have been giveth, and more have been takethd away, so a few updates have been made here and there. I also plan on releasing an additional final part for discussing new scents that havenβt been added to my reviews for whatever reason because Iβm lazy? Extra? The world may never know.
I would like to ask a quick favor from any readers of this post who wish to assist. Iβve been trying to be more conscious of using gendered terms to describe scents because really, anyone can wear any smell! As part of the queer community myself, Iβm always looking for ways to be a better ally to my trans/non-binary/genderfluid/agender/etc siblings, so constructive criticism is welcome! π
As a quick reminder, Iβm not shy about cussing, so if you donβt like foul language, I apologize in advance - it may be best to read a different post.
Quick reminder 2 Electric Boogaloo: This post is written on mobile because Iβm a good and productive worker, so I will try to fix it when I get a chance to be on my laptop next. Itβs probably a mess, so Iβm sorry.
Last quick reminder I swear: please see my post history for my OG post if you care what notes I like and donβt like.
I LIED ONE MORE: I was not paid for these reviews. Iβm just way too enthusiastic about smelling good.
In the immortal words of Chris Pratt, LETβSA GO!
For context I'm a Refuse Driver (Garbage man) & today I was on food waste. After I'd tipped I was checking the wagon for any defects when I spotted a lone pea balanced on the lifts.
I said "hey look, an escaPEA"
No one near me but it didn't half make me laugh for a good hour or so!
Edit: I can't believe how much this has blown up. Thank you everyone I've had a blast reading through the replies π
The Slagrat is a lower level monster designed to be a little more interesting, and dangerous, than regular giant rats. Variants can be generated based on their diet and brief adventure hooks are provided. Statblocks can be found in my original blogpost here. As well as an original artist's interpretation provided by a friend of mine. People seemed to like my last post to this sub: random tables to generate fantasy plants, I hope you like this one too.
A writhing mass of glinting metal and thick matted fur. A monstrous fusion of rodent and warped metallic elements: Strange metallic spines, shining nodules and crystalline tumours. Serrated, saw-like incisors glint as adamantine molars crush and pound rock. Long tails glow with red-hot heat, suffusing the area in a dull crimson light. Flurried, quick movement tempered with a weight that suggests power and danger. These monstrous rodents feast on metal ores and are the origin of the powerful dwarfish curse: May slagrats find your ore before you strike it!'.
According to their brief mention in Balnarackβs Bestiary, slagrats were created by Stracian fleshcrafters in the lead up to the Tunnel War. The preparations for war required more metal than the forges could provide. The fleshcrafters proposed a solution. Careful spellworking of elemental energies would allow them to fuse giant rats and rust monsters into docile, living ore refineries. The initial experiments were successful, their creations ingested ore and excreted nuggets of pure, refined metals. However, over short generations the rats' arcane infused bodies gradually twisted and mutated. Flesh turned slowly to metal instead of silica, heavy elements infected their clever rodent minds and the rats began to desire the metallic bounty for themselves. Hard elemental claws and teeth are not easily contained and the escapes began.
Slagrats are predominantly found underground, often in mines, where they can feed on newly discovered ore seams. Occasionally, hungry slagrats will burrow their own tunnels down from the surface, sniffing out seams beneath the earth. The tunnels and seams they uncover this way have led to some prospecting miners attempting to re-domesticate them. In underground spaces, slagrats fed on iron ore may f

If it needs a NSFW tag it's not a dad joke. There should just be a NSFW puns subreddit for that.
