Within the folklore itself, there are three competing wings of irish oral history with regards "the Aos Sí" (literally "the people of the mounds", pronounced " Ehh-shh she"). They are either;

a malevolent race of magical creatures, tantamount to elves and fairies.

members of the Tuath de Danann, a legendary godlike race of proto-irish warriors, now vanished from the land.

a third version also has the Aos Sí as native survivors of a foreign invasion (they're also seen as the Tuath de Danann), but in this version they signed a peace treaty with the invaders, agreeing to flee underground/to "The Otherworld"(people of the mounds) as part of the conditions imposed on them from a lost war.
The others/children of the forest are all three of these things (with mounds swapped for weirwoods).
There is more in the mythology too, much more. One of the main historians who looked into this stuff sees Iberia (Spain) as the location of these foreign invaders (there were several series of invasions in prehistoric Ireland, much like Westeros). He then suggested that this is why, in some irish folklore, Iberia is often referenced to as "the land of the dead".
Even little things; today, in 2021, farmers will leave "fairy forts" (tiny ancient mounds) alone -- to the point of growing crops around them) rather than disturb the fairy folk. That's thousands of years of tradition right there, wrapped up in a farmers subconscious!
I do not trust the children of the forest AT ALL, and neither should you. People refer to a quote where the children are sad, but not angry, about disappearing from the world, how a human would seek vengeance...

I think that quote will come back to show that 'human' nature is rather predictable (e.g. vengeance gonna venge), and that the children, like Bloodraven, are all about deception.

I have heard a few contradicting analogies and explanations about what exactly they are. Some say they are off-shoots of the Tuatha De Danann, not really gods, but something more than mortals. I also heard that the Christian monks that recorded the Irish myths basically undeified the De Dananns and made them into fairies. Can someone clearly define the difference between the two groups?

So I'm writing a story that uses a lot of Irish mythology. One of the creatures I stumbled across is the Aos Sí. From what I could find they are said to be similar to the Norse Elves. When I tried finding images I got very mixed results from them looking like Ents to fairies and so on. If they do look like the Norse Elves, is there any real distinction between them or is pretty much the same thing? If they are different then in what ways?

Se você não se sente bem com sigo mesmo tente lucidamente trabalhar nela, fazendo uma limpeza de pele, tendo uma higiene básica, e uma academia para se manter na média ou até acima dela, quanto mais melhor né?
2 - Personalidade acho que é uma das coisas que mais conta para se ter uma relação duradoura com amigos, você precisa ter uma boa personalidade para que as pessoas estejam com você, queiram estar com você, sem parecer forçado ou nada do tipo, seja você mesmo e caso as pessoas não gostem de você, azar. Sempre vise se melhorar e entender seus erros, ser empático com outras pessoas mas não se deixe ser trouxa ou usado, as coisas são como são, e quando são para acontecer. Desconfie de tudo que for muito enrolado ou demorado, nada que você tenha que esperar muito tempo vale tanto a pena assim.
3 - Expectativas são uma merda, é natural criarmos expectativas na nossa mente, mas tente não criar elas ou pelo menos desviar um pouco.
Ex: Nossa o que eu tenho que fazer para conquistar essa mulher. ( Isso faz com que independente do que ela faça com você, tu acha que sempre esta errado em tudo e continue sempre no mesmo ciclo tentando e tentando e se frustrando.)
O correto seria: Será que ela é uma boa pessoa? Quem é ela? O que ela tem a oferecer? Automaticamente você chega e conversa com a pessoa para conhecer ela, e não para ganhar uma recompensa em troca, e se torna um pouco mais leve.

Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.
